I drove my 2015 Expedition about 5 miles from work to the park, then shut it off. All electrical immediately shut off (including SYNC which normally stays on until the door is opened.) My electronic locks wouldn't unlock and the light even went off on my phone charger. I couldn't even use the key fob to unlock it. I tried to start it again with no luck, no dash lights at all, no clicks or sounds like you would expect from a failing battery. I'm letting it sit for a while, in hopes that it will start back with no issues when I'm ready to leave the park.

Semi-relevant information: it has a relatively new battery. I think 1.5 years old? It started fine this morning and it is 87 degrees right now, so I wouldn't expect a battery failure to show up. We did take a road trip last weekend and it did this once, not started right back up after.

Any ideas?

We have a 100ish year old home and we've undertaken the horrible task of removing the ceiling and old insulation and replacing it with modern drywall in the living room. The old ceiling was cracked beyond repair.

Now that the job is about halfway complete, we are realizing that our room actually feels a little larger and higher since our ceiling fan has been removed. Our original plan was to just replace the fan with a slightly more modern version (no brass hardware!) and perhaps add in 4 canless lights. Now, the vision has changed a little and we are considering leaving out the fan and just putting in 6-8 of the canless LEDs. I also considered just putting in some sort of centered, flush mount light instead of the fan, but they all look like bathroom lights or dining room decor. For those of you who have decided against the ceiling fan, what did you choose?

For reference, it is a relatively large space, approximately 20x12, but it has two windows, three doorways, and an arch way, so it is a very "busy" room. It is a very flexible room for us: home office, play room, and living room.

I've been taking semaglutide for 6 (almost 7) weeks now. My fasting glucose was 180-220 mg/dl on my oral medications and I could never get it below that. Semaglutide has dropped it to 120-140 mg/dl. I am super happy about that, but my body has also decided I'm *starving."

I wake up very early in the morning, 4-6am, and all I can think about is eating! I am also having physical hunger pangs. After I eat a little something, I'm fine and back to normal. However, I am tired of waking up so early just to eat! How long will it take my body to recognize that 120-140 mg/dl iis fine???

Y'all. I don't know where else to post this, but these sweaty little kids SMELL. They are 7 and almost 5 and it is 90 degrees here. Everytime they go outside, they come back in and smell horrible. Mostly, their heads. It isn't armpit stink or anything like that yet, just a gross, sweaty smell.

They shower every couple of days and they are still using a kids 2 in 1 shower gel/conditioner. Is it time to switch?? Do they need better products?? Deoderant?? Help!!

As a child, my family's MB vacations always included a visit to a seafood buffet. The Original Captain Benjamin's was probably the favorite. As an adult, my husband (and our other traveling companions), are not as fond of the fried options that are so abundant there and at similar buffets! Does anyone have a recommendation for a buffet that may have more grilled/steamed/not fried options?

Also, any recommendations for Mexican seafood in the area? We really like El Chepo Taqueria. They have some great options, but we would like to try other places!
