I just noticed they changed the Universal Citywalk AMC’s name
It used to be “Universal Cinema AMC at Universal Citywalk”. Kind of a mouthful, so I get why they changed it.
Personally I wish they changed it to something like the other theaters where it’s AMC (Location) (Auditorium Number), which would be AMC Universal 18 (I think it has 18 screens right?) That would be consistent.

Preferred number of movies per theater trip?
How many movies do you prefer to watch per trip? This is definitely the sort of thing that heavily depends on how far you are from your local theaters, your work schedule, and your own preferences.
Both of my theaters are 20-25mins away, so I like to stack most of my movies on one of my off days to reduce travel time. But I try to avoid quadruple features unless 3/4 the movies are 90 mins. Even with short movies, quads are pretty exhausting cause that’s usually like 10-12 hours at the theater. Triple features are my sweet spot, plus one movie after work or more rarely on another off day depending on what movie I want to watch.
is anyone else the one who consistently gets bad hours in their department?
this is a vent thread for anyone who’s the one that gets the shit end of the stick when it comes to hour distribution.
when payroll is low, my ETL will cut my hours before anyone else’s. to a certain extent, I get it, because my availability is slightly more limited, but that doesn’t make it any less disrespectful. I’m not even asking for much. just a nice consistent 25-29hrs 4 days a week. I’ll even accept 23hrs when it gets bad.
if I’m lucky I’ll get called in early. heck, on certain days I’m usually called in early because my department is understaffed on those days. but why not just schedule me accordingly?

the ice cream is on the bottom because I had to weigh it. sorry about the janky ass picture but I promise it was good! somewhat satisfies my sweet tooth.
AMC has upped their rerelease game a lot this year, and I’ve been paying for some of them so I can watch newer movies or expensive IMAX rereleases with A-List. I do my best to only pay for the cheapest tickets/fan faves.
