So, finally tried to use EVGo after a while, with no success. Edit: As an aside, I do not have any native EVGo chargers within an hour's drive of me.

Would try to get it to connect in the app to unlock the Chargepoint charger it directed me to, and it gave me a message of "disconnect and try again" without me even removing the charger from the stand.

After doing this, the charger becomes "unavailable", even though I am sitting right in front of the thing, and it shows as available in ChargePoint and on the stand.

Wound up going to three different Chargepoint chargers and none of them would connect successfully.

And since there's no first-party EVGo chargers within an hour's drive of me... 🤷‍♂️

Found one at an estate sale for under $20, looked complete, including spotter, reflector and SR4mm eyepiece.

Looking through it, everything appeared dim, even during daytime. Big issue is I know the previous owner took it apart, because there was dirt and fingerprints between the primary lenses.

Took it apart to clean best I could, but it's been overcast and I can't tell if it's better. I reassembled it with a crown-spacer-flint orientation like I found it.

Before I go further down a rabbit hole, is it really salvageable, perhaps with a bigger eyepiece?

So, had an issue with my RX 9070 XT upgrade - ran DDU to clear the old drivers out, then installed the new card and booted.

Initially got a black screen with my install, but fixed that with a driver update using my 9800X3D's iGPU.

Once up and running, the Adrenalin software seemed to bug out - attempt to start, screen would flash, and the cycle would repeat with a new splash image.

​

Also, my NZXT CAM software for my cooler fritzed out, showing me a white box on startup.

​

After multiple software and driver reinstalls, I finally got CAM working - and the trick I think was reinstalling the _9800X3D's_ graphics driver.

It seems that the "whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.6.1-win11-b.exe" only installs the discrete GPU driver.

​

I needed to install the "whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.6.1-win11-a.exe" version for my CPU to make everything work ok.

​

But even with that, the actual Adrenalin software still flickers out and quits/restarts.

​

Any ideas? Am I not getting FSR4 enabled without it?
