Mango Kombucha nice and foamy
Simple recipe, I just added 1.5 oz of Mango juice to the bottle.
Not sure how long this was in F2, I just use the plastic bottle technique to ensure carbonation.

Anyone utilize a spring-loaded bottle filler with an auto siphon? If so, how do you get the siphon started because I only have two hands hehehe
I've been using the non-spring loaded style for a long time and have to use a clip on the end to hold the bottle filler from touching the bottom of the bottle when I need to step away for a moment {left one).
Really like the spring-loaded better for this because it doesn't work unless you're pushing down but can't use it with an auto siphon, only a spigot.
Home builder agrees that it wasn't wide enough and said he would do a bump out to allow getting into the garage better.
The flags are where he sprayed a line of what he thinks they should do.
My concern is ensuring that it is indeed wide enough to pull a car into the driveway without having to do a three-point turn in the driveway.
The only way I could decide it would work is to simply pull the car into the grass and pull into the driveway but with the slope that's here that would be difficult to do safely.
Figured there might be someone in this group that didn't driveways and had a suggestion for width and length or design.
My other concern is that doing a taper would leave a small triangle of concrete that would crack, break, or weaken since it will be separated from the original concrete work.
New home, tripped over this piece of shim that appears to be falling out from beneath the entryway between the garage and the house.
Does this look okay? This void appears to be like this in the other doorway as well. Perhaps the shim is just debris? Or should there be more here? This shim is pretty much completely loose and not doing anything.
I've been doing quite a few lacto ferments in jars but as a major vacuum sealer user {food and sous vide} doing this method really fascinates me.
I've seen various posts where a bag has blown up and they say poke a hole in it and put a piece of tape over it or something and various posts about people doing random things.
However, I don't recall seeing any posts that recommend certain things for these methods or the best way to utilize this method.
I love to get some general knowledge on everyone's experience using this method; what you ferment, method, salt percentages, fermentation length, etc.
Open thread, share your experience, failures, and successes. TIA
