Is this normal behavior?

Windows 11 on Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3
Intuos Pro M PTH-660 (secondhand)
Driver 6.4.13-4 Windows 10 & 11 (x64) & Windows 11
Using a cable, no bluetooth enabled

Recently bought this Wacom second hand, and I'm having trouble with the touch functionality. I can only get it to work half the time and even then it will be choppy and slow. I can pan sometimes, but as shown in the video often it doesn't work at all

On FireAlpaca it does nothing, on Krita it does as shown. I have tried switching the rendering process to OpenGL which seems to have improved responsivity, but otherwise I'm not sure what to do. Is the Wacom just old? It has a bit of lag, so I'm worried. Are my hands just too damn sweaty?

The aim was to have smooth zoom, pan and rotate. Any help would be much appreciated

Beginner here - what am I doing wrong?

Just opened this new airbrush - HY-F200 GoCheer, trying to get it going but I've had trouble getting the paint to spray consistently or at all. I'm using Vallejo model paints (no thinner) and airbrush cleaner, and the whole set had previously been sitting unopened for at least two years in a dark room. I was spraying in about 28℃ (82°F) in the shade. The compressor was on max which I think was 30 PSI, and I was wearing proper PPE while testing

It sprayed fine when I first opened it, but it kept sputtering, and the more I fiddled with it the less reliable it became. I have tried a multitude of things including but not limited to:

- Cleaning/soaking the needle/nozzle with airbrush cleaner
- Switching both the nozzle and and the needle sizes
- Adjusting how deep the needle is in the airbrush (worked at first but then decided to not work)
- Testing all of this with regular white paint/diluted with water/just water/just airbrush cleaner
- Changing the PSI from 30-25

Each time there have been varying results. Sometimes it would spray normally, like when I switched just the nozzle to a bigger size. but the second time I did this it didn't spray at all. Mostly it just sputters paint without aerating it. The last time I used it was in the video above, where the airbrush was spraying nothing and the air was bubbling back up into the canister

My theories so far:

- The paint has been sitting around for a while, was too thick, and clogged something
- I haven't cleaned it properly and there is residue paint (there was in general a lot of paint left, no matter how thoroughly I cleaned it, is this normal?)
- The needle got slightly bent and I didn't straighten it properly
- God despises me

Please ask questions if you need more info! Just want to get this thing working. I can take more photos if needed.

How does faux fur yarn endure/degrade over time? Looking to use it for every day winter wear

I want to make a hood for the winter, and have considered using faux fur yarn, but I'm worried about the durability. I want this hood to last a long time, will it survive lots of wear/washing? How does it degrade over time?

If I don't use faux fur I'll be using cotton instead, so if you have any tips on that it would also be appreciated

Thanks!
