Setting up a new Pack VPS server. Recommendations?

I'm in the process of commissioning a new VPS server which will host mainly html/CSS sites (and one simple WP site). The server will be running Plesk 18.0.

Could I ask for recommendations for add-ons I should consider or would benefit from? Let's Encrypt is already on my list, but it's been a while since I've done this and I'm very out of date.

Also, are there any server-wide settings I should apply from the outset?

Thanks

Confused about controlling outgoing calls

Apologies if this is ground already covered (I've searched and not found anything).

I have set up Family Link to manage a relative's phone, and do get it's working well. They've just messaged me to say that they're not able to make outgoing phone calls, but I've imposed no usage limits just app installation controls.

Checking the Google support site it suggests that I can control which connects are contactable, but I can't find this setting in Google Family on my phone. The instructions are attached, but that option isn't available.

Any suggestions where I might be able to find it? This is a sick Samsung A14 with minimal apps installed.

Had anyone come across this before? Samsung A14 locked

This is a 2nd hand phone which I bought for my mother from CEX here in the UK. It got a little flaky and wouldn't let me into settings, so I replaced it a few weeks ago and did a factory reset.

My mother's had problems with the new phone (she has dementia) so I thought I'd set up the old phone again. Ran through setup, transferred minimal data from phone #2, no apps, then rebooted to be greeted by this screen.

"All binaries are not allowed to be flagged due to KG locked : vb meta"

"This phone has been flashed with unauthorised software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support"

I can't turn the phone off or do anything. It was working mostly fine until this morning.

Any ideas?

Where to collect a disabled passenger?

My elderly disabled mother is flying in tomorrow and I'm driving down to collect her. She is an assisted passenger and I'm wondering where I should go to collect her?

I've just called the airport's main number and they're now closed.

Anyone know or could advise?

If humans disappeared, which plants would take over?

Let's say the population of the UK suddenly moved elsewhere en masse. Which plants/shrubs would take over and eventually "win"? Brambles? Hogweed?

Recommended WiFi dongle to match this BT router?

[reposting as the image of the router didn't upload]

A colleague has a decent WiFi connection on his mobile but a desperately crap signal on his desktop. Can anyone recommend a not-horribly-expensive WiFi dongle that he can use which will be relatively friendly with this BT router?

TIA

I'm childishly delighted to have caught this. I'm 61.

Mother's android phone borked. Any suggestions?

[Samsung Galaxy A14 bought for my elderly and very non-technical mother]

My mother tends to get through phones fairly regularly, and this one has lasted about 6 months before it's run into problems.

The screen has a green hue and has about 8 horizontal lines across it, and I can't get into any of the settings at all: when I try I get a message that the app has stopped. So I can't wipe the phone or restore it to factory settings, and I can't give any AV apps the permissions they need to run.

Right now it works, makes/receives calls, runs WhatsApp and SMS.

Any suggestions on what options I might have, or should I just bin it and start over?
