Thinking about switching from salon nails to pressons

I've been getting salon nails for years, but I'm trying to save money because the appointments add up fast.

I'm thinking about switching to press-ons again. I tried them years ago and they only lasted a couple of days. Have they gotten better? I like medium to long coffin nails, and I'm pretty rough on my hands. How long do yours actually last?

Is anyone else juggling way too many tabs just to write one LinkedIn post?

Caught myself with Chrome looking ridiculous this morning like srsly. LinkedIn, Google Docs, Slack, YouTube, a Notion page full of ideas, and a couple of random articles I swore I'd use.

i mean by the time I finished switching between everything, I barely wrote two paragraphs.

I'm mostly curious if this is just my workflow or if other people deal with the same tab chaos. How are you keeping research and drafting organized without turning your browser into a disaster?

Moving from San Diego to Sacramento, need company recommendations

We’re moving from San Diego to Sacramento in a couple of months, family of 3, 3-bedroom place. I’m trying to keep the moving budget around $4k, but the first quote we got came back at almost $7,500.

I honestly thought there was some mistake when I saw the number. We don’t have a ton of expensive furniture either, so spending that much on the move feels hard to justify.

If anyone has moved from SoCal to the Sacramento area recently, which moving companies did you use?

Which tools for prospecting and follow-ups for LinkedIn and prolly X?

A few weeks ago I stopped doing outreach fully manually because I was spending more time switching tabs than talking to prospects.

I tried LinkedIn tools, follow-up schedulers, and Twitter outreach, but most either felt robotic or took too long to set up, so I went back to a hybrid approach.

I’m still looking for a better workflow. What tools are you using for prospecting, messaging, and follow-ups?

Anyone else hired in a new country and realize it wasn't the right move?

We hired our first remote person in a new country to see if it was worth expanding onboarding was easy but a few months in it looks like the market isn't really taking off like we thought.

Now we are not sure if we should keep spending there or move the budget elsewhere. The person is solid but the numbers don't really justify it. For people who expanded to new countries, how long do you usually wait before calling it and moving on?

Pouch boxer, is it good?

I've been replacing a bunch of old underwear lately because most of them have stretched out. I figured I'd try something with a pouch since everyone keeps saying it's a game changer, but there are so many brands now that I have no idea where to start.

I'm looking for boxer briefs that are breathable, have pouch ofc, and stay comfortable through a full day of work and a gym session.

[27F] London, Dec. 5-9

Finally booked my first solo trip to London and I'm way more excited than nervous now. I'll be staying around Covent Garden and mostly want to wander Christmas markets, check out museums, grab coffee, and end the day in a cozy pub.

I don't mind exploring on my own, but it would be fun to meet a few people along the way. If anyone else is visiting around the same time or any locals want to grab a coffee, walk through a market, or visit a museum together.

Anyone found underwear you barely notice you're wearing?

I feel like this is impossible question. But every pair I own is getting uncomfy. Waistbands feel too tight just after wearing it and for few hours. Legs also either bunch up or squeeze my thighs.

I tried athletic boxer briefs too but they feel like compression shorts after sitting all day. I just want something soft, supportive and comfortable without constantly adjusting it. Any recommendations
