They sound better than they look. They’re also twice as heavy. Original pickups, I believe only the tuners have been swapped out and I put on locking strap locks. It was refretted but it was played into the ground before me, and I see why

2018 as we all know is Ohtanis America rookie year. They let one slip in 2019
Topps eventually fixed this, keeping the action photo but changing the portrait image in the third pic (not my card)

Not a lot of copies exist, one estimated print run is 2163 with under 400 graded by PSA. I think a lot of kids got these for Xmas and forgot about them

First of all praise be. Here’s my collection of ungraded Ohtani cards. I pull this thing open at least once a day to look thru it. Cards with doubles are flipped so I can read the back
About a 50/50 mix between pulled cards and purchased / traded for. My personal non-rookie favorites are the 2 color patch relic and the factory crimp error with the jagged texture. Something only we could appreciate haha
