While on my way to Nagoya from Osaka last week, had a brief detour to Toyosato, Shiga for the place known as the site of the school where HTT is based on. It's pretty interesting to see how they managed to replicated the entire rooms, and also seeing how a small town managed to transform a nearly-unused building as a tourism center. I mean, there's also galleries about the school itself.
Also visited the bread shop near the Toyosato station which has many K-On posters. Bought a red bean bread while at it too.
A great journey indeed. After years of being a BtR! fan, I managed to afford myself a trip to Japan and seeing these sites up close. Though, sadly the tree mural building is now fully unreachable but at least I can still see it.
From eating (a broken) takosembei in Enoshima to enjoying a glass of drink in SHELTER and even feeling the vibes in the live house, and not forgetting taking a detour in Village Vanguard nearby.
An unforgettable journey indeed.
