Job kitty
my bosses son found her in the woods behind our job scared and pregnant and now she is our work kitty. she’s fixed and healthy now and a huge diva. she is obsessed with cases of gatorade and water. my boss pretends to be annoyed that she’s “in his way” but i’ll come in the office and she’s sprawled on his lap while he’s on the phone. last pic of her is with one of her babies before they got adopted. she loves our boss the most but she has like 20+ ppl that give her attention every day at work. we are next to the county animal shelter but they had no record of her so we think someone may have dropped her off thinking she would get picked up by animal control.
a lot of animals get dumped on roads close to shelters or landfills. i’ve worked at 3 companies by shelters or landfills and i’ve rescued and rehomed around 10 cats abandoned on the road at work over the last couple years. if you live or work near an area like this keep an eye out and take down the license plate of anyone
dumping animals. in my state it is jail time and animal control will “take steps to make sure they aren’t able to abuse or neglect animals again” whatever that means. they might not always get the person but they do take down names and they won’t be able to adopt if they ever tried.

My job permanently closed in february and I had to transfer my 401k and now i’m questioning it
so i’m only 24 and only had a job w 401k for around 2 years so it’s only at 10k. my job permanently closed in February kind of abruptly bc we were expecting a sale of the company not shutdown. I was freaking out abt losing my 401k money so I basically just jumped on the first suggestion which was a retirement IRA account with edward jones. now that i’m actually taking time to read about edward jones im seeing a lot of negative stuff about fees. also im seeing on here that people are paying 600$ a year in fees. my advisor suggested I contribute 100$ per month to my ira since im already paying 150$ a month to a truist investment account (with 0$ fees). if im paying 600$ a year to edward jones that means im only paying 600$ into my ira. it’s really embarrassing how little I know about finance bc my dad is managing director for capital market credit risk at truist. he helped me set up my truist investment account but I kind of dealt with the 401k thing on my own. is there a better way for me to do an IRA? is edward jones actually that bad? Any advice I get here i’m gonna run by my dad but his expertise isn’t exactly young ppl making 23$ an hour and he is just happy that i’m contributing to an IRA but he’s not familiar with edward jones and he does his own finances.

looking for a home for a foster kitty in Northeast Georgia, USA
i’m currently fostering a sweet kitty named Oatmeal. she is 1.5 years old, fixed, and she was born blind. Her previous owner is a friend who had to move suddenly bc of family stuff and is not allowed to have pets in his new apartment. I can’t keep oatmeal permanently bc of my 2 rescue cats. i’m in the northeast georgia area. I have no experience with blind cats but I was pleasantly surprised with how well she’s able to navigate stuff. she’s been with me for a few days and has used her litter box every time, can jump on and off the bed and can find me no matter how silently I move lol. we really need to find a home for her and if anyone can help please comment or message me. I can put you in contact with my friend who has had her since birth and he can answer any questions you might have. she is super playful and loves to cuddle. she has lived with dogs and other cats and loves to play with both. with her being blind i’ve been keeping her separated from my cats for her own safety. I have 2 rescues that are not friendly towards other cats.
she warmed up to me and my boyfriend in about an hour and is pretty clingy tbh.

fostering a blind kitty pls give me advice
she was born blind. she’s super sweet and laying on my chest rn. what are good ways to introduce her to the layout of the room or will she figure out on her own? she’s figured out how to get on the bed and I brought her over to a litter box that’s a few feet from
the bed but will she be able to find it when she needs it?

anyone on keppra completely lose sex drive?
I feel like an old person. i’m thinking about changing my birth control but i’ve been on the same birth control for 6 years never had this issue. i’m literally 24 i’m too young to be having this issue and ik it’s the meds but how can I fix this while staying on my dose of keppra? my bf is really understanding but I miss how i used to be. also I feel bad that im in a relationship and dealing with this. if I was single I wouldn’t care AS much but like it’s affecting me a lot and it’s also affecting a person that I love very much no matter how kind he is to me I know he misses that aspect of our relationship before seizure meds. i have the lileta IUD, and going birth control free is not an option for me, I am way too scared of pregnancy and also had extremely bad periods before getting my IUD. the lileta has had no side effects for me so im scared to switch birth controls but if there is one that could help my situation I might be open to discussing it with my gyno. I just want to hear if anyone else has experienced this and what helped you get back to normal?
