7/25/26 best steam engine ever?

Just went back to listen to the set from 7/25 of this year and it might be my favorite version of steam I’ve ever heard. What’s your favorite version?

A great week/weekend

From my 30th birthday backpacking adventure this week. Hammock camped near JBL. Unfortunately had to scrap saddleback and basin due to sideways rain and high winds. It was a rough one. Really bummed about turning back to camp but ultimately glad we chose not to slip and die up there. Haystack was windy as hell. Hoping to come back in September?? to conquer Basin and Saddleback.

Finishing out the weekend in Schroon lake kayaking

Here’s to 30 🍺

New to me 1982 Honda Urban Express

Some wiring issues to work around and a possible dead battery. Runs great otherwise. 30th birthday present to myself

Honda Urban Express Key Won’t turn to “on”

Tried jiggling the handle bars. Twisting slowly, adding a little pressure. Haven’t cranked on it hard or anything. Played with for an hour and nothing. Advice? New to moped and small motors

Not enough suck?

Does this vacuum motor seem like it needs to be replaced?

Checked vacuum blanket for holes and air escaping, can’t find any. Motor does sound like it’s chugging quite a bit (not in the good way).

Anyone experience this issue or have experience with a motor that’s not pulling its weight?

Should I try to remove her shell?

Day 3 since breaking soil. Will she power through and break it off herself?

Unfortunately I can’t even find the commercial online. It’s two teenagers sitting on the hood of a car and there’s an EDM song without vocals playing In the background for only about 5 seconds.

It’s being aired on peacock and Amazon prime during the NBA playoffs, haven’t seen it before then.

Would this power my flash dryer for 4-5 hours? Or do I need something bigger?

I do live screen printing pop ups often and usually I bring an extension cord and tap into the electrical on site. My next pop up, that won’t be the case and I’ll need to bring my own power.

I believe my flash is a 120v 18amp unit. It has no temp or power control. Would this inverter suffice if that’s all I have plugged into it? Or should I go for a bigger unit?
