If you ever wonder why shinobu fans gets a lot of shit it's because of this

People are being too comfortable larping demon slayer

First off not only does this person completely fail at basic biology, it's obvious they don't know how the human body works, so am gonna teach them

Total Concentration Breathing works by hyper-oxygenating your blood and increasing heart rate and circulation to give your muscles explosive speed which actually speeds up poison circulation, not slows it. You can't just dial down your blood flow without your blood pressure crashing and passing out from lack of oxygen to the brain.

You cannot consciously tell your smooth muscle tissue or cardiac muscle to slow down through simple thought. Heart rate and vascular constriction are regulated by the autonomic nervous system.

The only reason Tengen survived is because he explicitly used extreme muscle control to stop his heart entirely to freeze the poison's spread, a lethal, specialized trick that standard Total Concentration Breathing cannot do, as well as him having poison resistance. I mean most of y'all should know this basic info but apparently not all

And lastly, Muzan's blood/poison causes rapid cellular destruction, but it was actively being delayed and weakened by Tamayo's four-stage anti-demon drug injected into Muzan, while Gyutaro's poison is an instant kill lethal toxin with zero antidote available during the Entertainment District Arc.

If you haven't figured it by now am absolutely throwing shade at this user and their d**b argument but I didn't show their name so I didn't break any rule, it's not hard to so basic research instead of just larping

Does anyone else find assault kendo very oppressive

For a character who is considered weak against flying characters they sure always have the highest kd in the lobby, I mean who's surprised? That's what happen when you keep dishing out mobility to negate the character weakness

Your last seconds before strike dabi tells you your worthless or too slow and explodes

He became the embodiment of a walking nuke

Assault AM needs a massive alpha nerf

Btw I didn't say nerf him to the ground no in fact nerf his dumb combo, this dude can do beta alpha alpha into another beta, his alpha does like 300 plus in like 3 secs

Also I don't want this post to get taken down so I guess reduce the splash damage and increase downpower

u/tyfydd — 2 months ago

IC Tanjiro surpassed tengen and rengoku meanwhile tanjiro most of the fight

None of tanjiro squad is surpassing the hashira anytime soon, they didn't become a hashira yesterday

u/tyfydd — 2 months ago

I guess this dude shield ain't breaking anytime soon

Managed to shield through the nerfs once again, is he byking secret love child or something?

Btw there are still arguments made that tengen isn't the undisputed fastest hashira

None of them have shown a comparable speed base also narratively, he's the only one shown to move like he's teleporting

Edit: The wording isn't the best I guess, I was trying to prove that tengen base travel and combat velocity are completely unmatched that's why I used multiple scenes and not just hta

I mainly used the points tanjiro borough up, when tengen moves he doesn't disturb the air or leave a scent to track, that's why I said he's the only one to move like he's teleporting because he doesn't leave a scent or disturb the air obviously the wording was wrong

This game has a very low skill expression now and am sorry most of you don't deserve div1

This is a re-post since the original one got taken down cause it wasn't "constructive". I wasn't gonna do anything until I played a few more matches and got scored on more by blitz curlers using the most unique formation ever 4222 paired with long ball counter, so am gonna leave a constructive feedback and potential solution at the end

As much as fc gets shit on heck I don't even like the gameplay, it has some semblance of skills in the higher rank, can't even say the same for efootball. I started playing this game back in 2021 and almost have 5000 hours in this game, it's crazy how each year the game basically plays for you

They gave an option not to play against smart assist div 3 up cause of dumb it was but keep adding skills that are basically smart assist 2.0, skills like magnetic feet, long reach tackle, gk spirit roar, directing defense, attack trigger, phenomenal finishing and blitz curler are basically smart assist 2.0

I played 5 games in a row against div1 and what they all had in common is blitz curler, it's basically a win for me button. Scoring against p2w teams is already difficult cause the game basically plays for them, now having all that hard work instantly removed cause they can just go to the corner and spam blitz curl, I had a game recently where someone had 3 players with blitz curler going to the corner and just spamming it, btw they were in div1

Isn't div 1 supposed to be the best of the best? Instead it's just filled with the most one dimensional formation and tactics, basically long ball counter, 3 CB and a defensive rb paired with 2 cf. The tactics? Spam as much 1-2 as possible and let the AI carry you to victory, zero semblance of identity

I guess what I am trying to say is that looking back at where this game was in 2021 compared to now, it's depressing to realize how thoroughly the skill gap has been hollowed out, watching this game devolve into automatic win buttons like blitz curler and smart assist mechanics is just painful

At the end of the day div1 isn't a showcase of the best players anymore, it's now who can exploit copy paste tactics, abuse long ball counter and let the AI carry them to victory, I remember the day through ball over the top got nerfed, long ball counter players complained the most, there is zero identity left in the gameplay. When Konami literally bans their own core mechanics and p2w cards in pro tournaments just to maintain 'competitive integrity' they are openly admitting that the base game is fundamentally broken. They don't even view their highest ranked players as part of a real competitive ecosystem.

Konami is willingly sacrificing the soul of the console game to please the mobile market and protect their real revenue stream. It’s impossible to justify the grind when a multi-billion dollar company would rather cater to automated mobile gameplay than reward actual skill. Honestly, it might finally be time to accept that the game we spent years mastering is gone, replaced by a glorified mobile cash cow.

Constructive feedback and potential solution

Balance the automated mechanics: If certain skills are deemed uncompetitive enough to be banned in official pro tournaments, their effectiveness needs to be heavily tuned down in standard Division 3-1 gameplay. The success rate of automatic animations like Blitz Curler should be heavily tied to manual player input, angle precision, and user timing rather than a guaranteed AI arc.

Introduce Hard Tactical Caps: To prevent the exact same 4-2-2-2 or 3-CB Long Ball Counter templates from dominating 99% of high rank matches, Konami needs to implement tactical diminishing returns. Constantly spamming the exact same 1-2 pass route or long ball bypass should increase player fatigue drastically or suffer a severe drop off in pass accuracy to encourage tactical variety or even better make the formation work like how it's set-up, make a dumb formation like 4222 easily exploitable for the lack of midfield and wing depth instead of ai helping them by covering all exposed areas

Separate Console and Mobile Balancing: Tuning the console gameplay physics around the limitations and automated nature of touch screen mobile devices hurts the platform. Konami should completely separate the live service gameplay patches so that the console ecosystem can enjoy a deeper, more manual skill gap.

Debunking "shinobu had a perception nerf"

This might be a rant but who cares, I am done with people spreading false information while refusing to do any research at all.

There's a widespread theory or should I say d*mb theory that shinobu only lost to douma because his bda instantly gave her "pulmonary necrosis and severe hypoxia", lagging her perception. This is not only a massive misinterpretation of the manga timeline or even the anime, it's also completely medical impossibility

Here is my argument

  1. The timeline: Necrosis and hypoxia take time

The entire encounter lasted less than 20 minutes

: Necrosis is the premature death of cells and living tissue. It is a progressive, structural decay. It is physically impossible for living tissue to instantaneously rot and die, especially in shinobu case where she's still standing and fighting

: When douma states "your lungs are dying" he's talking about a progressive injury caused by her continuously inhaling his ice mist during their fight

  1. Total concentration breathing

To suffer hypoxia from douma mist, you have to actively breathe a significant amount of it into your lungs over time during heavy exertion, which wasn't the case for shinobu. If her perception was lagging from a lack of oxygen that quickly, she would have been dizzy, stumbling, and unable to even direct a precise counter attack

Breathing style requires maximum oxygenation of the blood to power the muscle. After Doma makes his comment about her lungs, Shinobu literally unleashes dance of the centipede, This is her fastest, most physically demanding move and also requires coordination

If her lung tissue was already dead from necrosis and her brain was starved of oxygen to the point of ruining her visual perception, she would be physically incapable of channeling the massive amount of oxygen needed for dance of the centipede. You cannot run at supersonic speeds while your respiratory system is supposedly experiencing cellular shutdown, not to mention still form coherent thought to send kanao a message

  1. Active circulation

Necrosis results in ischemic tissue death meaning blood flow stops, the tissue rots, and it loses function.

Shinobu is actively coughing up and spitting out fresh, oxygenated, flowing blood. Her cardiovascular system is working overtime to try and keep up with the physical stress of the fight. It is an acute trauma injury from the extreme frost damaging her airways, not rotting of her organs.

  1. Dying does not equate instant necrosis

Touching on douma words again that her lungs were dying so she's suffering from necrosis: if a person gets shot in the chest, they are "dying" from blood loss and trauma. They are not suffering from instant cellular necrosis that lags their brain's perception stats. Doma is simply pointing out that her lungs are failing to take in air because the cold is damaging them. It's a stamina and physical movement debuff.

Conclusion

Shinobu didn't get "blitzed because her eyes lagged due to medical hypoxia." She was completely outmatched by douma. To think I am making all this point just to prove upm2 completely destroys a base hashira is kinda funny, if marked tanjiro and giyu couldn't do shit to upm3, what is a base hashira gonna do to upm2 and no shinobu isn't stronger then a marked hashira
