My local utility has an EV program that lets you run anything in your house from 10pm - 5am around .05 cents a KWh. They can’t distinguish or care what you’re charging, so that got me thinking why not charge whole home batteries overnight to use during the day.

I’m sure eventually the program will end, at which point I can prepare with building out the rest of the solar system.

Thoughts? Anyone else do this? What am I missing?

How do I best filter for this sort of role that has licensing requirements by state? They all seem to put different abbreviations or state requirements in different sections. When I search for remote roles they're very limited, are we getting/searching in the right places for these roles? Was also looking to filter for a more administration role as an NP.

Can anyone help with a query or approach to finding these roles that are out there?

I've been on hubitat to dabble but it's obvious HA has a lot more connectivity to the devices that I need, so now I'm trying to find antennas to do ZigBee and Zwave. Should I get a combo unit? Or one for each? Does HA support two different antennas?

I'm having a hard time justifying Unifi cameras for my residence. I'll need 8-10 total and want to use an NVR to not bog down my UDMPro. I'm going to do all POE, I routed conduit when building my house.

What am I missing if I use REO vs unifi? Anyone else using REO with unifi, any issues?

I might be stuck in the middle of nowhere, the place I was planning on charging is Tesla only...?? Any way around this? I have the NACS port, but the charger doesn't appear in the Tesla app.

Worth it? I know the reviews aren’t always the best but I’m going to be setting up at AT screen and moving from 3x Q150s. Is this worth it at that price?

I cannot get the robot to connect in the app. I've been using it fine for a few weeks without issue, now it won't connect in app. The robot is charged, power cycled, the base I unplugged and back in, wifi is showing correct in the app....dunno what to do!?

I'm buying an outdoor patio shade that's controlled by Gaposa motors, no option for alternatives. I can use the bond bridge hub, but know what has been done for Somfy motors for custom controller. Does anything exist for Gaposa?
