Ebay litem, 1m by 60cm and 10kg, cant find UK courier to collect/post.

Hi I have an item I am trying to sell its a rollator, 1 meter height by 60cm wide and 10kg. Its not worth much £40 at most, I have it listed currently as collection only, but doubt it sells due to size/weight, I tried parcelforce large items courier, but they don't offer home collection of the goods so cant use them.

Is there a cheap courier service £15-20 max that can collect from home and deliver the goods in UK? thanks

Should add, tried all regular options, royal mail/parcelforce send small red van with 1000 packages in back and no space for 1metre tall goods, its like there not aware you selected parcelforce large goods, 1metre tall/10kg weight items since they should send a parcelforce large white van to collect, but there trying to save money with royal mail instead. Evri, dpd, etc all charge £50-60+.

Installed several grab bars for mum, now I need them more then her....

So last 3-4 days, I have been doing heavy DIY at home with installing grab bars around the home. I was fine on Tuesday, but as I went to get out the bath tub, I felt something move around my left hip (no crack or pop though) and followed by a sharp electric type pain shot in that area and my bottom went back in the bottom of the bath tub.

I had then for 3 days sharp electric pain in my left hip/bottom cheek which last 3-4 seconds and goes, but I don't get any sharp pain traveling along my left leg or right leg, the pain just remains around the hips and lower back area.

On day 3, the sharp electric type pain went away by 60-70% luckily, but on day 4 its more tingling/leg weakness with the occasional muffled electric shock more on the left cheek/leg.

Not done the leg test since it hurts too much to raise the leg more then 15-25% up even, I am barely walking just shuffling along the home, takes 30-45 minutes to get out of bed or off a chair due to pain level, can't bend over forward or put on trousers or socks, no issues with urine/bowel movements.

I also get more back pain, when I sneeze, cough or laugh.

Is this sciatica and should I just rest up with limited activity?

Mother can't sit for more then 5 minutes...

So my pensioner mum is on aripiprazole (5mg) for late on set pychosis, our doctor claims its the lowest dosage possible for my mum to take. It does work well to a degree, but the issue is my mum can't sit still for more then 5 minutes and has to keep standing up and pacing around. It gets worse, she has arthritis in her feet so shuffles about the home, and is prone to loosing balance and falling. Have asked the doc 3 times, but he has said aripiprazole cannot be reduced no more.

So she went on propranolol few months ago but its made no difference, maybe even worser.

Feels like I can't go in any direction, but I know she can't manage the Akathisia side effect.

Is there any advice or suggestions?

Hi any recommendations to help with my pensioners mums swollen feet.

So far I am doing these:

-Foot elevation (30 minutes per day and 15 in evening before bed- this helps a lot)

-Foot bath with Epsom salt (Epsom salt meant to reduce swelling but unsure it helps)

She did not like cold or hot/massage packs around her feet and did not like the compression socks at all. She does a little walking around every now and then but says its still painful.

Any other techniques or ideas to help?

Hi my pensioner mum has visited the doctors 3 times recently for swollen bump on her hand, swollen feet and swollen ankles.

3 different doctors have just told her its arthritis and no cure, you just have to take pain killers and try elevation.

No X-rays or blood test were done, so I am just double checking can doctors/gps just visual check that it is Arthritis?
