I make iced lattes at home with oat milk and maple syrup. I love them with regular beans, but when I tried it with decaf (Onyx decaf Colombia Inzá San Antonio) I found that the flavor of the beans was overpowering the drink. I like a flavorful interesting coffee when I’m drinking it black, but not with milk/sugar drinks. I’m trying to reduce my caffeine consumption, so I’m looking for a bean with a more straightforward flavor, if that makes sense. Low acidity, not very fruity. Suggestions?

Hi, I’m looking to get a new monitor for my wfh setup. My main priorities are size (27”), sharpness and clarity (QHD), and brightness (350 nits+) - my desk is right next to a big window. I also need it to be VESA compliant so that I can mount it on my clamp arm and save desk space.

I was looking at the Dell 2725DSM which seems to hit most of my requirements. It’s currently $190. Is there a monitor that is well reviewed, from a known brand, that would meet my requirements and is cheaper? $200 feels like a lot to drop on a monitor :( For reference, I don’t game, so this is just for work.

I’ve been wearing this lipstick for years, since it first came out. It was a perfect red for me, perfectly matte and smooth, and so long lasting and perfectly applied - it stayed put and did not spread. But I recently bought a new tube from the Fenty website myself, and it was so orange and clumpy, plus looked awful because it spread all over the place. I’m wondering if they’re reformulating their products. Does anyone know? Should I try to buy from Sephora instead?

Hello, I got a visa appointment but it’s for literally less than a week before we depart. I want to try and see if I can reschedule and to keep checking the portal. But everything I’ve seen online says that there is no way to directly reschedule an appointment for the Italian booking website (Prenotami) and you have to cancel your appointment and rebook. And it doesn’t allow you to look at available slots if you already have an appointment.

Does anyone have any ideas? We are travelling on Sep 4 and our appointment is on Aug 31 :(

ETA: Some friends have recommended that we take the Schengen visa for another country and then go to Italy from there. But as far as I can see that’s not allowed. I don’t want to get into trouble/have this affect future travel plans or my current visa status (I’m on a work visa in the U.S.).

As the title says. She is currently on 7.5, started on 2.5 at the end of March. Her start weight was 147.5, current weight is 142.5ish. So she’s lost 5kg (about 10lb). This equates to 0.35% per week. She is 5’6” for reference.

She is having all the physical effects - loss of appetite, reduction in cravings, reduction in food noise, and also unpleasant side effects like (stinky) burping and sometimes flatulence. I worry that if she goes up to 10 that’ll be worse.

I thought since she is so overweight/obese she would lose weight faster. I don’t know why she’s losing weight so slowly. Can anyone shed light on this? Should she switch to another medicine?

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I’m a bit stuck!

I got a new job a few months ago, and I’m going back home to meet my family for the first time since then. My dad (and mom!) had their 60th birthdays in the past year and I wasn’t home to celebrate with them.

I’d like to get them both gifts but I’m really stuck on what to get my dad. He is a very busy high level executive in his field. He’s a workaholic. He likes things like pens, ties, cuff links, tech, and fancy things in general. Outside of work, he’s into hiking (although he doesn’t get to do much of that due to his job) and trying to eat healthy.

The thing is that my budget is not too high. Ideally under $100. I was thinking an embossed notebook, but he has a tablet that he uses for notetaking. I already got him a $300 pen when he got promoted a couple of years ago. I don’t know where to get nice ties that are in my budget from aside from Brooks Brothers - and he already has a ton of those.
