How overpowered would certain classes be with less rng based unit selection?
So to clarify what I mean Illusionist and Druid both have heavy rng in their unit generation and I kinda dislike that.
In my mind itd be better to have the option to make specific units for higher costs or maybe higher movement penalty. Now this could get a bit cluttered for the ritual page and no one wants a mile long list, so what if you used a "delegate" system? If you've played the Warhammer 40k governor mod then you know what I mean but generally the way itd work for the Druid atleast would go like this.
Druid of whatever tier to create specific delegate
A ritual to spawn a commander version of a specific animal, which itself has rituals themed around that animal
Commander Animal produces those units
Im unsure how much effort it would take to make this but I think ill end up trying my hand at it using the Overhaul mod as a framework since I do enjoy the expansion and development systems that mod uses
Also very very vague on how'd this work for illusionist...maybe the main illusionists retain the rng rituals on top of adding delegates with specifics? Or make him specialize into a specific theme and having every mirror tier of that theme?
