Applecare+ (mandatory) - INR 18,905 (5% off)

Discount INR - 9000 EMI card discount

Color - Midnight

Should I have gone for it? I already bought a base model earlier, with student discount, but only 16gb, I want a 24gb.

Went to following retailers, this is what I got.
Laptop to exchange - Lenovo Ideapad S3450 8/512 SSD

Croma - No 24/512 but best offer on M5 16/512. Exchange at 13K value (includes 7K Exchange Bonus)

Vijay Sales - Salesman was rude, entitled. Final price was 1.01 lakh for 16/512

iVenus - 24/512 available in limited quantity, as special configuration, only 5% discount, around 1.25 lakhs, with 13K exchange old laptop

Reliance digital - 24/512 available limited but 10% off, no buyback for old laptop

Retailers left

1. Unicorn
2. Aptronix
3. iImagine
4. Others (not aware or anymore)

Leaning towards Croma due to exchange and price was unfortunately only 24/512 available.

Applecare+ (highly considering adding min 2 years)

1. I was buying an iPad at a premium reseller recently, and the salesman straight-up suggested I do this.
2. He even showed me a video of people swapping their Macbooks/iPhones/iPad this way right before their coverage ends (only have to pay the service fees)

Question:
Is this some open secret I’m just not aware of? Won't Apple figure out if you intentionally destroy your device?

I use two phones. If I log food on my Android and then switch to my iPhone to add more entries, the app is completely out of sync and my previous logs aren't there.

Are the iOS and Android apps running on different versions, or is there a way to force them to communicate?

• I applied for Marriott Bonvoy Card but HDFC is asking for a lot of documents, so avoiding that for now, maybe in the future. - Any other card which can give the usual domestic lounges without any spend criteria

Expect targeted friction soon:

• Lower Caps: The $250k annual limit slashed specifically for capital markets.
• Tiered Rules: Easy remittances for education and health, but strict quotas for stocks.

If your wealth strategy relies heavily on accumulating US assets, factor in this regulatory risk now. The era of easy dollar flight is ending (ofcourse in my humble opinion)
