Enjoyed this roll and very happy with how it turned out. Hard to beat Portra +1 stop.
Wanted to see if an 85b filter would push the purple a little more magenta/pinkish, a poor man’s aerochrome. Rated the film at 160 to also push the purple a little more pink as well. It’s a fun change up on a fun and wacky film.

Weighted Dips +48KG/106lb for 3!
Hey all! It’s been a little bit. I’ll still kettleballin’ here and there, but I’ve been focused on a bastardized form of Tactical Barbell for 8 months or so.
Recently weighted dips have been my pushing focus and I set a new PR of a set of 3 dipping the beast today. I got 2 back in 2024, but I was weighing in around 185ish and I’m 205ish today. (Working on trimming that down some before I turn 40 in October, but that’s a whole other post).
I got stuck on my 3rd rep the set before this, so squeaking out the 3rd rep was even sweeter.
I also upped my Bulgarian Split Squat weight today to two 95lb dumbbells for 3 sets of 8. I could jump to the 100’s, but will enjoy the process.
Currently doing M/W/F:
-Weighted dips +32KG to 48KG for 5 totally sets. Usually a set with a 32KG bell, a 36KG, and then from there a set or two with 40,44, or 48KG based on the day and how I’m feeling.
-Weighted Chin Ups +12KG bell 3x5
-Bulgarian Split Squat 2x95lb dumbbells 3x8 (now)
I usually do a set of dips, BSS right, chins, BSS left. Repeat 3 times. Then two more sets of dips. Resting up to two minutes, but not always since I’m going between lifts. Time available and fatigue often determine my rest period.
*for awhile I was doing incline dumbbell bench as my push and got up to 2x85lb for a set of 7, but the set up was a bit much and time to move the bench around. Plus I missed dips and decided to go back to them as my pushing lift about a month ago.
Tuesday, Thursday, and occasionally Saturday are rucking with 40 to 60lb for 30-60 minutes. 3 to 3.5 speed at a 6 incline on the treadmill. Very often 40lb, 45 minutes 3.3mph, 6 incline. Usually once a week I’ll throw swings in before rucking 5 to 7 sets of 15 with the 28 or 32KG as an EMOM. Get the heart rate up and then get the rucksack on and get on the treadmill.
So far from a set TB Operator … Green, but black sort of thing. I just like the push/pull/legs in one session three days a week, mostly strength oriented and then some weighted cardio two to three times a week.
Also the wife and I had a 2nd kid. My oldest likes doing hangs/almost a pull up on the rings I have set on my bar and has his own kettlebell. So I’ve already got an apprentice 😂
(Stats: 6’1, 205lbs, 39 years old, dad of a 4.5 year old and 7 month old. Ballin’ for almost 6 years. 1,670+ kettlebell or strength sessions so far. )

Some snaps with Reflx Labs 320D, aka the C-41 processable Kodak Vision 3 250D AHU. Overall I like it. I shot it at 200iso, but will do 160 or even 100 in the future. I had to adjust exposure and shadows here and there. Especially when the meter favored the sky.
