why is finding a job so hard rn?

why does it feel so hard to find a job through job apps now? indeed, linkedin, applying everywhere and still nothing feels like enough. it feels like u need a reference or someone to know someone just to actually get your cv seen. is that genuinely how it is now or am i just having a bad time with job hunting? should i keep applying through these platforms or is the job market in lahore actually this bad rn? because sometimes it genuinely makes me wonder if there are even enough opportunities anymore or if everyone is just getting jobs through references and personal connections

Looking for a genuinely caring female PCOS doctor in lahore

Is there any good female PCOS doctor in Jasmine Block or around Bahria Town Lahore, preferably an endocrinologist or gynecologist who specifically deals with PCOS? I’m looking for someone who genuinely listens and actually cares about my health, and isn’t too expensive. I really don’t want a doctor who just looks at my symptoms and prescribes a bunch of medicines without trying to understand the root cause or properly monitor my health. I’ve never really wanted to choose medicines if lifestyle changes could help me manage things, but I’m honestly at the point where I’m just SO tired of being a PCOS girl 😭 I really want to take control of my health and do whatever I can to heal myself, whether that means lifestyle, diet, exercise, or medication when it’s actually necessary. I just desperately need a genuine doctor who will work WITH me, listen to me, explain things properly, and actually monitor my progress instead of just giving me medicines and sending me home. If you’ve personally had a good experience with a female PCOS doctor in Jasmine Block or anywhere nearby in Bahria Town Lahore, please recommend her! Especially if she’s reasonable with fees and actually takes the time to listen. ❤️

Looking for a safe single-seater accommodation in Lahore — need to move within a few days

Hi everyone! I’m currently living in Bahria town Lahore in a private, non-sharing setup that has been working really well for me, but unfortunately due to some hostel vacancy issues, I need to move within the next few days.

I’m looking for something similar to what I currently have, mainly because having these basic facilities already available gives me a lot of peace of mind while living away from home. I’m not expecting anything luxurious, and I’m flexible about the type of accommodation.

My current setup is around 25k/month with 10k security, so I’d ideally like to stay somewhere around this range, but rent is negotiable depending on the facilities and place.

What I’m hoping to find:

- Private single-seater / non-sharing room

- A genuinely safe environment for a woman

- Preferably a safe society, although I’m not fixed on any particular area

- AC available, preferably with a submeter

- Ideally electricity included in the rent

- Meals included — preferably 2 meals a day, but even 1 meal would be helpful

- Drinking/filtered water

- Kitchen access

- Oven

- washing machine

- Fridge

-Attached washroom

- Regular/everyday room cleaning

- Overall peaceful and clean environment

I’m open to pretty much any arrangement girls’ hostel, apartment/flat, portion, or a private room as a paying guest with a family. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a hostel. As long as it’s safe, comfortable and suitable for a woman living alone, I’m willing to consider it.

I know this might sound like a long list, but these are mostly facilities I already have where I’m currently staying, and I’ve realized that having them available makes a huge difference to my peace of mind and day-to-day life. So I’m mainly looking for something comparable rather than asking for anything extravagant.

I’m genuinely quite stressed because I need to move within the next few days, so if anyone knows of a vacancy, hostel, PG, private room, or even someone offering accommodation in their home, I’d really appreciate any leads.

The area is flexible ,I’d just prefer somewhere generally safe for women or within a secure society. And if the rent is a little above/below my range, I’m open to discussing it depending on what’s offered.

Even if a place doesn’t have every single facility listed above, please still let me know if it’s a safe and good option. I can consider it.

Any genuine recommendations or leads would honestly be a huge help. Thank you!

Looking to move to Abbottabad | Girls hostel + job opportunities

Hi everyone! I’m considering moving to Abbottabad and would really appreciate some advice from people who live there or know the area well.

I’m a Software Engineering graduate and I’m looking for job opportunities in Abbottabad, preferably related to software/tech. If I can find something suitable there, that would be ideal. Otherwise, I’m also open to working remotely/online while living there.

I’m also looking for a good, safe girls hostel with a single-seater room, preferably somewhere peaceful and in a decent area. If you know of any hostels, guest houses, or similar options, please let me know about them, including approximate rent if you know it.

The main reason I’m considering Abbottabad is honestly because I want to be surrounded by nature and beauty. I’ve always felt much more drawn to mountains, greenery and peaceful surroundings than busy city life. I’d genuinely love to live somewhere beautiful rather than spend my whole life surrounded by concrete and traffic.

So I’d also love some honest opinions: Is moving to Abbottabad a good decision for someone like me? How is the city for a young woman living independently, especially in terms of safety, accommodation, work opportunities and day-to-day life?

Any recommendations, personal experiences, or advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!

(non-serious peeps or creeps, please stay away)
