My Bee Caught a Bee
Maybe it misunderstood the badge… not actually for bees…

My 392 SP Shaker came with 22” rims from the previous owner. After cracking one on a pothole for the second time, I downsized to 20”. I think it looks better anyway.
The 22s had 265/40 on all four, and the 20s now have 245/45 up front and 275/40 in back. I know the car came with 245s all around from the factory… but damn they look kinda skinny. Would changing the fronts to 275s like the back really make much difference? It’s just my daily, and I drive like a grandma.
I have a 2016 392 Scat Pack Shaker, and the center Uconnect screen is on the fritz. Sometimes it stops responding to input (steering wheel buttons, physical volume knob, touchscreen, makes no difference). Sometimes it turns off on its own. Sometimes it doesn’t turn off when the car is turned off and the door is opened.
I’ve done the factory reset via the settings menu, didn’t fix it. I’ve removed the fuse for 5 minutes and then reinstalled, didn’t fix it. I’ve checked the Uconnect website and they don’t have software updates available for download anymore.
Are there any other things I can try before I’m stuck taking it to the stealership?
Can anyone explain why people think max dmg of a path they don’t use is a worthless tune, but min dmg of a path they don’t use still benefits them? Wouldn’t they both do nothing?
How do I have a 100% effective precision rate and still get abrasion hits? I did several 30 second test runs against the sword trial dummy, and every time I get between 3% and 9% abrasion damage in the end summary. How? What am I missing?
For context, I am a single dad in my late 30s. I was raised in a fundamentalist “Christian” family. I was physically beaten every day of my childhood. I have several siblings who experienced the same treatment. I now have two kids of my own.
I left all organized religion almost a decade ago. Over the last several years I have steadily reduced my interactions with my parents. When I was in therapy, I tried to talk to them about how they treated their kids, but I was always shut down and told they had to beat their kids, it was for our own good, they did it because they loved us, etc. I cut them off completely about a year ago because I found out from one of my siblings something my dad did to them, and my mother pretends didn’t happen, that I will not forgive. The last conversation I had with my parents was essentially: I know what dad did, never contact me again.
A couple months after I cut them off, my mom started sending letters to my kids every month. I open the letters to see if there is anything important in them, and then throw them away. This month, my mom’s letters included the phrase, “Your dad is holding a grudge against grandpa and me, so I don’t know if you’re even getting my letters.” And the fact that in one very narrow-minded sense she’s right, has me questioning my actions.
AITAH for keeping my kids from having any sort of relationship with their grandparents? It’s my responsibility as a father to protect my kids, and there is zero doubt in my mind that my parents are evil, dangerous people. I don’t think I’m being an asshole, but I feel a little guilty. I loved my own grandparents very much, and my kids don’t even know theirs.
Edit:
A few people have asked how old my kids are and what the letters say. My kids are 10 and 6. The letters are usually 80% random information about life events, and 20% “you can still be a Christian even if dad isn’t” and “we miss you so much and it’s so sad we never see you anymore.”
My guild had our first Breaking Army event since the patch today, and it seemed like everyone’s inner ways were all at base level during the fight. Is that something in the patch that I missed?
