Confused about accommodation types

Hello,

I'm starting at HSHL this winter semester, arriving with a friend (also HSHL student). Looking for accommodation in Hamm from around mid August, student budget, no Schufa history yet.

Completely lost between WG, shared flat, shared room, Einzelzimmer, Nachmieter etc, don't even know what to search for for two people arriving together. (We intend to stay live together)

Anyone who's done this:

- What type actually makes sense for our situation?

- Is WG-Gesucht realistic for internationals without Schufa?

- Any Hamm-specific tips or Facebook groups that actually work?

Thanks!

Issue with Snooze Email Feature for Custom Folders

Hello,

I’ve encountered an issue with the Snooze email feature.

It’s not available for emails that are located in different folders outside of the inbox. While I can snooze emails in the inbox, once I move them to a custom folder, the snooze option completely disappears on both Android and the desktop (web and app).

This inconsistency really needs to be fixed soon to improve usability.

Hello, I was given these instructions to send email securely:

"You can send the email securely and encrypted. For this, you need an email account that supports PGP encryption. You can find their public PGP key on our website (https) click on “Key” to open it, then copy it and paste it into your email program’s key manager. Alternatively, you can right-click “Key” and select “Save target as” to download the key file and then import it into your email program’s key manager. After that, you follow your email provider’s instructions to send the encrypted message."

Does anyone know if proton handles this automatically, or do I still need to manually import the PGP key and manage encryption myself?

Hello, I’m planning to apply for the Mobility and Logistics B.Sc. program at Rhein‑Waal University of Applied Sciences. The program has a mandatory 8‑week preparatory internship/work placement that must be completed no later than the 4th‑semester enrollment deadline. This gives me some fear and uncertainty because I couldn't find further details on the university website.

In that situation, what should I do?

What are the usual pre-internship requirements?

How tough is it to manage the internship without German (I only speak English)?
