16k in adv, 12k in mains, college guidance pleaseeee

i prefer my college over branch, so i was thinknig of taking iit bbsr metallurgy ( if i get it i am on the borderline), or nit trichy chemical /production eng, i am very confused, rn i filled iit mandi over nit trichy, and did not fill iit bbsr, (iit mandi is really close to my house , and there are 2 new branches there so i might have slim chances to get in), but i am really ocnfused wether to put iit bbsr over nit trichy for the same branches?pls guide me as seniors have better knowledge than me

FOR ALL THE 120 BELOW PEOPLE, ( READ BODY)

i know you have been seeing all these posts on this sub where everyone is getting 120+, 130 + , and seeing them discuss their ranks demotivates us so much,

this post is for all of you, you worked hard , at your best for these 2-3 years , and maybe smth went wrong on the exam day , maybe smth went wrong during the prep, but we gave it our all, and this is what we have in our hands rn.

seeing this sub makes us belive that maybe scoring even 12-13 k rank is bad , but look at the big picture, 15 lakhs to 15-16k rank , you beat almost 99% of the the competition, thats not bad at all, yeah the competition is tough so maybe we wont get good seats, but that doesnt make us failure,

take pride in your rank, look at how many people you beat, look at the sleepless nights you went through, the endless grind , and now your deserved results, take pride in everything

you are tough, you are awesome, you are determined, you are hard working, you are not afraid to take difficult steps , you are headed to a great future, take pride in who you are dawg , <3

i got 12k rank in mains this year, i am looking forward to join NIT silchar cse
can i pls get reviews on these

  1. placements in cse?
  2. infrastucture and campus life??
  3. any bad reviews you would give??
    i researched about nit hamirpur and got so many bad reviews aobut it, they said cse is good but college overall is quite isolated and heavy restrcitions
    can seniors pls guide me about this ocllege? is cse worth joining here?
