Is a team game <3

A couple seasons ago I'd probably be here making a post about how bad my teammates were in this game now that I finally understand this is a team game and regardless of your performance is not possible to solo carry every single game specially with a champ like pyke, Now Im just proud of my performance and will enjoy staying in my current elo so I can continue to perfom like this and having fun, dropped some crazy plays in this game and it was a lot of fun regardless of the outcome.

Almost died, should i retired? Male 32

According to all the medical staff involved, I recently almost lost my life in a motorcycle accident. I was commuting downtown from home at 11:00 AM on my 300cc Vespa on the highway. By some miracle, I ended up with 'just' five broken ribs, a broken clavicle, and road rash across my body from the slide, and I am expected to make a full recovery eventually.

Throughout the process, several doctors and nurses told me variations of 'motorcycles are a death sentence.' That messaging, combined with the intense physical pain, has left me feeling very hesitant about getting back on my scooter after more than 15 years of riding.

People usually think serious accidents only happen on high-displacement sports bikes at extreme speeds or on tight curves. The reality is that an accident can happen on a 125cc scooter while waiting for a red light to turn green. Once that reality hits you, you realize just how vulnerable you truly are on two wheels, forcing you to reconsider things you never thought about before.

I’m not suicidal by any means, but most people I’ve talked to since the crash seem to agree that riding every day is a risky way to live. I have a family that needs me, and I don’t want to do anything that might take me away from them—that’s the same reason I quit smoking. Right now, I’m just trying to cope. I’m torn between finding a way to get back on my bike without feeling like a selfish asshole, or finding the strength to step away from riding for good

EDIT: A LOT OF PEOPLE ASKING HOW THE ACCIDENT HAPPEN so here it is:

I was cruising at 80 km/h top speed on a 2 lane highway on the fast lane riding normally like I usually would centered in my lane worth mentioning i was exiting a tunnel where there's a radar that limits the speed at 80 km/h so going faster wasn't an option anyways while im passing besides several cars that are going slower on the slow line ( right lane) one of these cars suddenly and out of nowhere swerved into me hitting me and making me fall that's the last i remember apparently followed after that the car behind me rolled over me causing all the fractures and that's why im so salty about my accident i feel i had literally 0 options or i could had done anything different in that particular situation to avoid the accident. I was just being a safe driver on my way to run a morning errand in the city. Hope this make clears how the accident happen worth mentioning both drivers involved were elderly 76 and 80 years old.

Best protection gear for everyday use?

Hi all I recently was in a serious accident where i suffered injuries both because of the nature of the accident and because I wasn't wearing protecting gear except helmet and gloves, now i do have a good summer and winter jacket and plan on buying an airbag jacket as well now for my legs what would you all recommend? I usually like wearing shorts so if there's something i could wear with my naked legs and remove once I get to my destination that would be awesome any ideas? thank you. I still not sure if I'll get back on the bike since the family heavily;y opposes but im thinking about it

I almost died in my vespa

so after 15 years+ of motorcycle riding I almost died 2 weeks ago while riding my 300 supertech vespa on the highway at 11 am a car changed lane illegaly without noticing me and hit me after falling the car behind me rolled over my body was luckily enough to be wearing my good agv full face helmet that saved my life, I'm sitting here in my house typing this with 5 broken ribs, burns all over my body and a broken clavicule and vertebra, yet im thankfull, this all happened at 80 kmh sadly i wasn't wearing my motorcycle jacket or any knee pads. so you can imagine the hit my skin took, my question is how if other people has gone trough something similar has managed to get back on their vespa, The first few days I thought of never riding a motorcycle again since whole accident was outside of my control it's really scary to think someone else can kill you at any time when you're riding worth noticing both drivers were 76 years old and 80 years old. So I don't know just looking to hear other people's stories, POVs, while i recover thanks.

Edit: thank you all for the good wishes i really appreciate.

My advice to you all is wear as much gear as possible doesn't matter how hot it is outside or how unnecessary you think it might seem even if you sweat a bit wear it, you never know when you might need it.

Been riding for 15+ years fell of for the real for the first time

Writing this from the hospital but last week while i was commuting to the city a car from the right lane suddenly changed lane to the left where I was and it hit me everything else after that is blurry broken bones and burnes everywhere, my trust in people's care about others while driving is gone i can't see myself ever getting on a motorcycle again knowing you are always 1 dick head away from eating the floor is all too sad and painful just wanted to share.

Reinjured doing this exercise

1 month ago i injured my knee the sad triad I'm trying to schedule my surgery for September today since i could fully extend and everything i figured I'd do some exercises to strengthen the kne since I read it can be helpful doing so before the surgery, after a few reps heard something snap now it hurts and can't fullt extend 😔 damn it going to ice it out and hope ill be back to walking sooner than later worth mentioning that I had the band closer to my heels though, any thoughts? Maybe i should just avoid any kind of knee exercises until after the surgery? The irony is real.

Unhappy Triad blessing need advice

So this goes way back to 2016 when i injured my left knee doing skim boarding after first being told by a negligent doctor to get some rest and put some ice on it and reinjured in 2017 and found out i had the unhappy triad from the 2016 injury i got surgery in 2017 and got reinjured roll skating the same year frustrated i didn't even bother to go back to the doctor I'd just put ice on it and avoid certain activities, playing soccer in 2018 in injured my other knee and also didn't go to the doctor, went to some therapist back then and did some rehab, I've lived my life like this for all these years managed to snowboard and surf with some limitations my left knee the one i had surgery, would sometimes swallow, click or giveaway but I've managed to our it back in. Now most recently and reinjured my right knee and was diagnosed with the unhappy triad, I'm 32 I'm frustrated i do want to live my life ro the fullest but now both of my knee are bad the doctors haven't even check my left knee but he said without a doubt i also meed to get surgery for that so honestly i don't know how to handle this 2 knee surgeries are a lot of bedtime I'm doing some calisthenics now and like being able to live my life and be outside when i feel like having to go through 2 surgeries in order to do things like snowboard or play tennis properly feel like a high price to pay I'm really in doubt and i don't know what to do. I attached the mri from my most recent injury. Hope to get some good advice. Or hope
