Residence Payments

Residence Payments

This is kind of a dumb question, but if you live in residence starting in Fall 2026, do you have to pay again for the Winter semester in 2027 or is does the payment you make for September start cover both semesters? There is a payment option for Winter 2027 but I figured it’s just for students starting for the first time in that semester.

Course Selection

Just wondering what some people’s experiences were like during course registration. I’m a little stressed about making sure the electives I want to take are available in time. I’ve heard for other schools it’s like trying to buy tickets on ticketmaster and it’s overall a stressful experience. What should I expect? For reference I’m taking the Office Admin General course.

Course Choices for Office Admin

Taking Office Admin (General) in September, just wondering if anyone here has taken it and which of the elective courses would be best to choose from. There’s 2 comms, 1 gen ed and 1 program optional course that I have to pick but I’m honestly not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

YRT yellow bus delays

Anyone who takes the yellow bus notice there’s always delays with it? Within the last year, I’ve noticed more delays than usual. I get on at main st, usually the 6:36am stop, and it’s almost always late. Even just yesterday it was 10 mins behind, and noticed 2 buses going the other way passed while we waited for the one bus. Did they change stop times or is it just constantly delayed?

I’m 21yrs old, 5’6 and 125lbs and have been taking 7.5mg (1.5 tabs) of methimazole for maybe 8(?)months. Before I was diagnosed my weight would fluctuate frequently from 115lbs to max 135lbs. Now since taking it, my weight has stabilized significantly, staying somewhere between 125-130lbs. My problem is I can’t seem to lose any weight. I understand I’m at a healthy weight but would prefer to be at 115-120 lbs. I’ve noticed my appetite has increased drastically in the last year but I think my metabolism just hasn’t lowered or even gotten higher if that’s even possible. I’m constantly hungry and don’t eat very healthy because I’m constantly craving unhealthy foods. Anyone experience weight loss while taking methimazole? I know it’s more common to gain weight than lose so not sure if it’s just me. I shouldn’t really be complaining since I seem to be able to eat whatever and not gain any weight but I’m more concerned about my diet and feeling hungry all the time.
