cervical ectropion

Just told I have cervical ectropion at 22wks due to occasional light spotting. Never had this with my 2 prior pregnancies.

Feeling anxious about it.😭😩 If you have had this and have any birth experience and would like to share, please do!

Anatomy Scan- Anxiety

Had my 20wk anatomy scan yesterday, and got my results today.

I read the notes that the baby has an enlarged nuchal fold at .70. This was the only soft marker found. Earlier on I did the NIPT and it came back negative and the NT scan also came back normal.

My anxiety has been up there. I’ve read a lot of stories that people have received the same news of an enlarged nuchal fold with a normal NT scan and negative NIPT results, that have had babies with no complications. So that’s been a *little* reassuring.

😩😩😩😩🫠

Feeling so sick

(17wks) I’ve been on Labetalol for a week now and been feeling so sick with sinus congestion and aches in my legs😭😭

Feels like the flu (it’s not) and I just want to curl up and sleep all day 😩

Labetalol

Recently was told to start this as I have high blood pressure when I go into the clinic. My home readings are never high.

For those that have taken it during their pregnancy, were you able to come off of it after delivering? Or was it something that you continued?

Labetalol and Baby Aspirin

Hiiiii

I was prescribed both Labetalol and Baby Aspirin today due to my high blood pressure.

For those who have been prescribed Labetalol, what has been your experience with the medication?

And then those of you who take both, how have you been?

I’m nervous about needing to take both 🙃

Self Esteem

13wks with my 3rd, and my self esteem is taking a major hit.

I’m showing much quicker this 3rd time and I think I’m taking it hard. I’m still trying to hide it, so my clothes have been more flowy and bigger. I know that’s a huge contributor. It’s hard not feeling frumpy and so big😩

3rd Pregnancy

Having gone through multiple pregnancies (3rd one currently), it’s strange being in the first trimester. I keep thinking I’m going to feel some movement since that’s probably the most notable memory I have of being pregnant. It’s also difficult not having movement this early on because that’s also the way I would reassure myself in between check-ups.😩

Gotta keep telling myself I’m barely in the 1st trimester (almost 2nd). 😅

Early Glucose Testing

Hi!

This is my 3rd pregnancy (10wks) and for my last pregnancy I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes in the 3rd trimester; I was diet controlled. I took my glucose test today and it came back normal.

For those that have had multiple pregnancies, and had GD the first time around, did you have to test early and then again in the third trimester?

I’m wondering if I’ll get it again later into my pregnancy or if this is an indicator that I won’t. 🤔
