The ASUS ROG Strix XG34WCDMS (280hz version of the PG34WCDN) is currently €850 in my country. Is this a good price for what I'm getting?

SC-550 II BCF with Gotoh VK1-19 golden knobs. Very satisfied with the overall quality. Also a nice wood pattern. Other than the action being a bit too high I have no complaints!

For anyone who owns both models, do you think it's worth going for the custom III for better ergonomics/sound quality alone? Cause I really like the design of the 550 II BCF (the sexy red one) and none of the custom III designs really speak to me. Any input would be appreciated!

I was thinking of getting this extension cable for my 5080 but it has the latch facing upwards. Anyone know what it looks like with the cable end flipped upside down? Since there are no pics of it on cablemod's website
