Does anyone else feel like styledbysammyy kind of...can't do hair?

I feel like every cut I see her do looks the exact same, with the same wet looking crunchy gel cast, the same middle part, the same total lack of volume even if her clients "like a lot of volume". She seems to also have gotten such an extreme holier than thou view when it comes to styling when she really only seems to know how to do exactly one style--middle part, flat at the roots, with such an intense product cast that the client's hair looks wet. Everyone in her comments seems to love her, but I've honestly been so put off by her attitude and the monotony of her videos. What are your opinions?

down abysmal for my best friend (both 20s) and don’t know wtf to do. HELP😭

we’re both in our mid 20s and hang out nearly every single day. both single, both queer (i’m a lesbian, she’s bisexual). neither of us has had any experience with women and have mentioned wanting that a few times.

i think she might like me back? but i can’t be 100% sure without asking her, which im really hesitant to do as we’re in two friend groups together and i don’t wanna fuck up the dynamics.

as for what’s been going on — we’ve always been pretty close over the past several years i’ve known her, but recently it’s felt like our friendship has been changing. we’re hanging out nearly every single day (typically like 4-5 days a week), have a few spots that we go to regularly without anyone else from our friend groups, have a ton of inside jokes we reference constantly. it’s honestly gotten to the point where it’s a little irresponsible—we’ll hang out until midnight and then go home and text until 2 am, then repeat the next day. over the past few weeks i’ve noticed there’s WAY more eye contact, she’ll grab and poke at me a ton (which i haven’t seen her do with our other friends), and when we end up brushing arms/legs/sides we’ll just kinda…stay there. she compliments my appearance sometimes, and i’m like 70% sure i caught her glancing down my shirt tonight when i was tying my shoes.

to be honest, i think there’s a chance she likes me. my roommate, who sees us together pretty often, said it was a no brainer that she likes me back when i told her about my feelings. but i still am terrified of saying anything. i really don’t want to ruin our friendship or jeopardize the dynamics of the groups we’re in, and even though i don’t think she’d hold it against me, the only option i can picture is her rejecting me. it doesn’t help that i only recently (within the last 6 months) realized im a lesbian and not bisexual and still have some internalized issues w that.

does anyone have any advice? anybody who’s been here before? i’d appreciate anything really :/

[Acne] I’m convinced that the water is causing mild but stubborn acne after a move. Now what???

I’ve had clear skin my whole life with only mild spots here and there, but since I’ve moved states (around a year and a half ago) I’ve developed mild but stubborn acne, specifically around my chin and jaw, with occasional spots on my cheeks and forehead. I’m not used to it and it’s incredibly frustrating. I’m pretty sure it’s the water. I’ve switched to a filtered showerhead and wash my face with a spritzer of distilled water which has helped a little, but not enough to knock it out entirely. I have an incredible simple routine so I really don’t think it’s caused by an overuse of actives or anything like that. I went out of state a few days ago and have been washing my face with the unfiltered showerhead and tap water and my skin has healed almost completely within two days. SO FRUSTRATING! Has anyone had experience with this??? How did you resolve it?
