Basically the title. It showing error for past few days.
I filed my federal tax along with ITIN application with nearest IRS center by mail on feb 2, 2026. I didnt receive refund nor ITIN.
Today i created ID.me account and it shows like this
''We received your return and sent you a letter requesting more information. Please respond by following the instructions in the letter. If you don't respond, your refund amount could be changed. It may take 2-3 weeks for you to receive the letter.''
The thing is I didnt receive any letter ? I called IRS office multiple times but not able to speak to anyone.
What should I do now ? pls help. I filed extension for my state return because of ITIN.
