Maryland House Bill 1523 bans the sale of 7-OH effective July 1, 2026

I just wanted to let everyone know that this bill bans the sale of pills with 7-OH. Many kratom users will be affected by this legislation and many people will probably be sent into severe withdrawals.

Personally, I think a 30 day period before the ban went into place would have been more compassionate. 7-OH is actually a safer opioid than other alternatives due to the signaling being through g-protein pathways compared to beta-arrestin.

If you currently take them, you may still find some places selling out of their remaining stock but of course that is risky.

Just wanted everyone to know because this could affect many users.

Even when I lose faith from all the grifting this subject matter creates, I remember the incident that truly proved NHI is actually here and aware of our planet and society.

What is this case that provides ironclad proof that this shit is real?

The March 8, 1994 Michigan incident. Even when considering Roswell or the Arizona mass observation incident, the Michigan incident stands out as a case that cannot be ignored or explained using terrestrial examples.

This incident was observed by tens of thousands of people. Nearly half a thousand actively lit up the 911 switchboard. Authorities from four different organizations reported on the activity. Multiple airline pilots reported something that had no terrestrial parallel. During this era, even suggesting that there was exterresteial activity could be career ending.

Two completely different radar systems picked up the activity. The ATC personnel were hesitant to even make a report, but multiple were made due to the extreme nature of the UAP activity. But the real gem was the real-time reporting from a weather operator who tracked the activity for over an hour. The activity was so other worldly that authorities called the weather man for more information. The actual audio of the 911 call to Jack Bushong was recorded and the audio is available on YouTube. I HIGHLY encourage anyone interested in NHI activity to go and listen to the taped call - it is truly insane because you realize how sincere and real this man's reactions are to what he is watching on the radar.

unfortunately, Jack was secerly ridiculed by his coworkers. His reputation at the time took a massive hit. He didn't initiate the call. He didn't just sit there making shit up for a laugh. He was contacted by authorities because of something that was happening that was not of this world.

The Michigan March 1994 UAP incident is absolutely fascinating. There is no doubt that something ordinary was happening. What these large ships did over the lakes was incredible. Tens of thousands saw this happen in total.

If you are just slightly interested in this topic, do yourself a favor and listen to those audio tapes. There is absolutely no ambiguity -- something not of this world was taking place and witnessed by the thousands -- including pilots, radar operators, police and many others.

If Maryland had to strategically attack and conquer all bordering states (Virgina, West Virgina Delaware and Pennsylvania), what would be the best plan strategically, and could Maryland eventually attack and reclaim land from Washington D.C.

The gloves are finally off and Maryland is ready to start some serious bullshit.

You are the general in charge with coming up with a military strategy that will give us the best chances of expanding our own state. What can we do to finally show the rest of the country that we are done with the bullshit and show that we are the state to be feated.

Have any of you ever had dreams of the sky hotels and apartments?

They go up past the clouds. The elevators are usually flat or surrounded by glass. It seems a lot of the structure includes temporary living centers as well as long term apartments.

The feeling is usually very warm and inviting. There seems to be a lot of more advanced technology that is integrated seamlessly into older style Roman architecture.

Why is this subreddit filled with intelligent people and thought provoking conversation?

I thought you assholes were just a bunch of druggies trying to engage with machine elves but every time I swing by you are all having these deep intellectual conversations.

What gives?

Let's list all of the top experiences in our lives that were truly strange or unexplainable

Here are mine (not necessarily in any order):

- When I was very young and still sleeping in a crib, an unknown entity would sometimes visit me. I named this being "lala." I don't remember much more except that it was friendly or at least gave off benevolent vibes. The entity was small -- maybe two feet tall. It had a very thin body. I also remember that it had a very faint blue glow to it.

- When I was around 9 or 10 years of age, I remember seeing from my bedroom a human skeleton in the hallway and some type of pet next to the skeleton that was also a skeleton. This was so unnerving that I slammed my head into my pillow and pulling the sheets up. This was most likely a hypnopompic hallucination but at the time, it looked very real.

- During my teenage years, I would have sleep paralysis about once a week. During one of them, I immediately entered a lucid dream. The interesting part wasn't that I was still concious in the dream but that my senses were amped up to insane levels. The scene was a magnitude more sharp and real compared to waking life. Wherever that place was, I had never had a waking like experience that came anywhere near bow crystal sharp my vision was. It actually made me tear up after waking because it was so unbelievably real.

- When I was in boyscouts for a one week retreat at Deep Creak Lake in MDs, one night I started crying and telling my tent partner that my parents got rid of snuggles our dog. No one told me, I just instantly knew it. Both my parents were shocked when they came to visit. To this day I have no idea why I suddenly knew... I just did.

- One day I was Walking with my best friend at the time and suddenly saw just blue in my vision. Complete blue and only one monochromatic shade of blue. No storms nearby at all. The crazy part is that my friend suddenly stopped walking and said, "did you just suddenly see..." "... All blue? Yes!" It happened to both of us at the exact same time.

- On September 10, 2001, I was driving around with some friends. We all had this gag joke going on where the driver would play some silly song that broke the back to back modern songs in our playlist. The song I played was Frank Sinatra's "New York." The next day after the towers were hit, some of my friends called and were like, "dude wtf??? Remember the song you played last night?" I was just floored at the coincidence.

- February 17th of this year, I felt my grandmother die at the same time (or one or two minutes close to it) that my grandmother died. I also had an ADC from her.

- When my cousin died (after over a year until I knew because of my father having no communication with his sister), I asked for a sign from him. Not even two minutes later, I saw a YouTube comment with just one word -- Wise. That was my cousin's last name. I am not claiming he gave me a sign, but the almost immediate coincidence was crazy. I like to think he got me to click a certain yt video and check the comments. Whether it was truly real or not, it gave me a huge smile.

- When I was a teenager, I owned a pet rat. Her name was Drucilla. One day I took her out of the cage to hold her and let her lick my nose. I don't even know how or why, but I knew she would die shortly. She licked my nose and then had a seizure and passed.

Sorry that's all I have for right now. Some of these memories are really tough emotionally. What I can say is that when I look back at all these experiences I have had, the really hard ones are the ones that invoke emotion.

Looking back at my life experiences, I can honestly say that there is some component of life that sits beyond even the fringes of reality. As we get older, we are surrounded more and more by death and loss. When you peel away all the bullshit layers of reality, you start to see that love and our experiences of giving and receiving love far outweigh everything else in life. You quickly learn that praying for just a minute or two of extra time to tell someone you love them supercede everything else.

That is why I feel a stab to the heart every time I read a new story about how ICE tears apart a family, etc. Not to make this political, but what I see today from people who enjoy supporting such a horrible government -- it just leaves one speechless and numb.

I have a few more to add later but I would love to hear about your own life experiences that don't have a simple explanation.

I keep going back to February 17 when I felt something exactly when my grandmother passes away and I cannot figure out how or why it happened

I wrote about this extensively the same day it happened in the paranormal subreddit.

I guess I am trying to understand how it happened and why. Maybe some of you have had a similar experience but I feel so alone at times.

To recap – my grandmother passed around 11:20am on that day. She was thirty miles away at a nursing home. We knew her time was short and that she was in the process of dying. My mother and I had both been there the previous day.

At around 11:19am, I was lying in bed and relaxing. We were planning to go up later in the day since extended family was already there. I suddenly had the thought "go now!" I then threw myself out of bed while thinking "wtf is happening." Then I immediately thought of grandmom and ran to get my mom (her daughter) and said we needed to leave immediately. We did.

We got to the nursing home and found out she had passed at the same time I had that feeling and heard that command to "go now." What I am trying to understand is how and why it happened.

Have any of you ever had anything like this happen?

Energy costs in Maryland are way too expensive. Could someone please break down exactly how we got to this point?

How did we get here? Why are energy costs so high in Maryland? Our last bill was over $500 and we are doing our best to watch every kilowatt we use.

edit: Thanks to everyone who helped me understand the issue. it is amazing how much AI is causing so many other issues like causing the demand for energy to skyrocket. There are a lot of great educational comments in here!

I am just so fascinated by this field because I feel like it attracts people who are not only intelligent but also really good at spotting things other people might completely miss.

I know image specialists work the machines (and the patients) to get the best images possible. Who exactly is responsible for interpreting / diagnosing the results? I used to think the doctor would interpret the images but than I realized that image specialists probably see a lot more each day and therefore might have superior pattern recognition compared to a doctor.

I know the next question might be a gut punch and I truly hope it doesn't upset anyone but how often is something missed entirely? What about seeing something that isn't an issue but might appear to be (false positive).

I guess what I am trying to understand from a patient perspective is what happens between the point of me thanking you for taking the scans and the doctor coming in to explain the results?

I am curious if this is new technology? It was for a chest x-ray. They wheeled in a machine with a cylinder funnel f facing me. I guess this was to contain the x-rays.

No lead shielding given. Not that I care because I am not having kids anyway.

Anyway I was a bit surprised because I always thought xray machines were too big and balky to move around.

Is this some type of new tech?
