I’m looking to attach the slide to the tree roughly as shown. It came off an old play set. I’d rather not build wooden frames and platforms. Could this be done with some lag bolts and auger bolts? Should I grind the top of the slide so that it marries up to the tree better? Looking for relatively cheap and easy without it being a total hack job.

Just a quick update to this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/herbs/comments/1vr31ed/how_do_i_wrangle_this_basil/

Wanted to thank you all for your advice. I took a bunch of cuttings from the original rooted them and replanted them. They seem to be taking well to the soil about 24 hrs later. Appreciate you all!

Very leggy and starting to fall over. Can I prune it back down or will it just die? I’d like to get it a little more short and bushy if that’s still possible.

Lots of maintenance to keep them from killing one and other but everything is flourishing.
