Hi there,

as per title, I recently discovered that someone might have set up an account on an hosting provider, using my VAT id but under a different name. I'm a sole trader and as far as I know my VAT id represents personal data.

I asked the company to provide info about this account, but they refuse to disclose anything. They just mention that the name I provided in the GDPR subject request does not match what's in their records for the given VAT id (I also provided all the official document to verify that indeed my VAT id matches with my company name).

What else can I do other than requesting them to rectify the data? And what can I do next if they do not comply with the request?

Hi. Anyone else still seeing unusual response times from Hetzner? I know they had a huge number of support tickets to handle beginning this month. As per title, I opened a ticket June 3 and still haven't got a feedback yet, only automated responses. At least I would have liked a human acknowledgment.

Ciao a tutti. Qualche giorno fa l'AdE mi notifica una richiesta di informazioni per mancati versamenti IVA intracomunitaria 2020. Con sgomento noto le cifre: si tratta di quasi 6k di acquisti di servizi in Germania che non mi appartengono assolutamente. L'unico contatto tedesco è un provider su cui avevo fatto acquisti nel 2013 in regime di reverse charge facendo i regolari versamenti IVA, provider che poi nello stesso 2013 era stato violato e con cui avevo chiuso l'account.

In un primo momento il commercialista ha suggerito di fare ravvedimento e chiudere la partita ma la sua proposta mi è sembrata molto forte in quanto si tratta di operazioni che non mi appartengono e presumo che pagare potrebbe configurarsi come un riconoscimento di queste stesse operazioni.

Nel frattempo abbiamo contattato il provider tedesco da cui sospetto le operazioni siano originate ma stanno impiegando una vita a rispondere ed entro pochi giorni dobbiamo fornire una risposta ad AdE, che siamo comunque convinti procederà con un accertamento.

Vi è mai capitato di gestire casi simili e se si qual'è il miglior corso d'azione per difendersi?
