Did anyone chose to do an operation for their child.

My daughter is almost 12. She is a dancer. Loves to dance and takes about 6 hours a week of dance including ballet, tap, modern hip hop. In addition to that she is in karate and being very competitive. This kids is very sporty and loves to move. Well an about 6 month ago she hurt her ankle doing jumping jacks. And that is how we found out she has accessory navicular bone on both her feet. :((

We stopped all the activity and did boot for like 6 weeks and even did crutches for a few weeks. The pain went down to about 1/10 most of the time to about 3/10 once in a while. But we know that pain needs to be 0 to go back to her activities.

After the boot we did physical therapy for like 1.5 month. Again no major improvement but not bad. She is not in huge pain. She can do almost all karate but I am afraid to let her do ballet or acrobatics or anything like this. But I really really want her to do what she loves. And that is dance!!

Any ways, we finally asked for MRI and MRI shows inflammation between her navicular and the regular bone. Now they are saying she needs boot again for one month and PE for another month. Why do this when we already did it.

The next step is injections of plasma I think. I feel like it’s going to end with a surgery. Anyone done it with kids? Is it bad? What to expect?

It’s kind of hard to realize that your MIL is that truly evil narcissist and her boyfriend (in his 70s) is typical flying monkey

So my MIL is epitome of evil. I think the thing that she is trying to do so hard is to convince me and everyone in the family that I am stumped and did not achieve anything in my life. Now, this is pretty weird goal in itself. But any ways, she was fine when my FIL was alive. He really liked me and he kept her in check.

But sanely he passed away. Then her true personality came out. Like just putting me down. Putting my kids down. In front of my husband and behind his back. It took me about 1/2 years to figure out what was going on.

She pretty much found a new guy right away. They moved in together and she pretty much adopted his daily. His daughter in law, his grand kids and so forth. So, me and my husband and kids kind of went into background. We pretty much did not see her much because of Covid. Eventually she started bugging us to see her. Now we see her on kids birthday and when she invites us over once a few months.

It’s always nightmare but today was something else. The old guy boyfriend got my husband drunk. Like on just a few glasses. My husband never drinks. He set across from me and started to convince me very nicely with friendly smile that I have not achieved anything in my life except catching my husband. And that I am using him and stoping him from seeing his beloved mother. Oh, poor mother she just wants to see her son. Well we see her, but no. She wants to be invited into our house. And she wants my husband to call her…and I am stupid and cruel person.

He was saying all this while my husband is passed out on a couch and my kids running around listening what’s going on. Meanwhile mother in law is in the kitchen as quiet as a mouth.

She did come out a couple of times to confirm what he was saying. Finally I woke my husband up and he said a couple of times for them to stop. But they never did. They waited until he went to the bathroom and the boyfriend started again. Basically in a very nice friendly way like elderly grandpa really but absolutely disrespectful stuff.

I should have ignored it all and done grey rock but I have hard time doing it. I get involved. But I am always respectful.

Any ways, my kids are traumatized now. Thank god my 19 year old stepson took them to another room for most of it. He is a good guy.

Any ways, finally my husband was able to take us out and he was kind of upset and from that and drinking which literally boyfriend offered him non stop on purpose. He threw up in the car on the way home. I think my kids were mostly upset about that.

I honestly think we will not go there again. What a manipulator. I am almost 100% sure she talked him into this. She was all like hey I did not do anything. Dangerous person!

Need help with Hiprex

So, why does Hiprex sometimes not work and lets UTI develop? Is it PH? Is it like your PH is too high and next day book you get UTI.

I have been keeping an eye on my PH with those test strips from Amazon. It has been pretty good. With vitamin C or without or even eating milk. It was about 5 all the time. All of a sudden yesterday it went up and initially last night I have sharp pain in lower abdomen and today wake up with symptoms.

Is it too late now and I need antibiotics again, or can I make Hiprex work better? But how. I am already taking vitamin c but urine is still not acidic all day. It’s around 8-9. :((

Any advice on making PH go low again?
