Listening to the audio book and they describe Natasha's mech without saying what it is (I'm assuming it's her Warhammer) but they never specify what phalen is piloting. It's referred to (A LOT) during the trial as 'lone wolf' and as far as I can tell it's got some lrms, lasers, and a gauss rifle.

My guess is an odd variety of the kit fox? Any definitive answer though? I already tried looking on sarna.

This game has always had a crashing problem (at least on Xbox). When it first came out, I played on my Xbox one and would crash every few hours when jumping systems, figured it would stop when I upgraded to a series s, and then I thought it would stop when I got a series x. But holy shit after this latest update I am crashing CONSTANTLY. I tried to edit the 3 slot sunder yesterday, my game crashed 5 times in a row just trying to switch 2 ppcs to clan ppcs. The crashes when jumping systems are still there as well and just as bad as it was at launch.

As I understand it it's a memory leak issue.

Before someone says make a ticket on the discord, I went to last night and the entire thread is people talking about the crashes so I didn't pile on.

Edit: u/yrrot replied to someone in the discord about the memory leak issue since I posted this. "Things are being looked into, but I don't have any more info than that."

Edit 2: I played 1 (one) mission today, game crashed as soon as I entered the mech bay to start repairs after. Didn't even open the editor, just the main mech bay menu.

Which would be all fine and dandy except the fact that the mission is fedcom vs wolf dragoons factions with me on the side of fedcom

"wildlands for story and atmosphere, breakpoint for gameplay mechanics" and frankly I don't get why people say that.

I'm finally getting around the playing breakpoint and honestly it's just "wildlands in different setting" and that's it. Like the gameplay doesn't feel more polished, mechanics don't seem to have changed. Am I missing something here or is breakpoint just reskinned wildlands?

so i downloaded mechcommander 2 from the github link someone posted here a few days ago. ive run into little to no issues with the game itself (only minor bugs like the deafult color being cyan but flipping to yellow with the camera sometimes, its fixed by just changing your mech color in the settings, also encountered some enemy pathing issues but that leads me to my question). as far as i can tell, no malicious software hitched a ride either.

The problem im having is how to patch the game. i downloaded the patch from sarna, unzipped the file into the mechcommander 2 main file, is there anything else i need to do? or is that it and im good to go?

Personally I'd like to see whole head ejections. Basically mechs such as the hatchet man had a system that when ejecting, the whole head of the mech would rocket away as a escape pod of sorts.
