Choosing a base material
I've done french lace hair systems for several years but I'm looking at options. I'm a moderate sweater, so the lace cap is nice and cool. I need to order a new system and I'm curious how the newer hybrid systems wear. I'm always disappointed how quickly the french lace sheds. I only get a few months out of a unit before I need to replace it.

Over the weekend I gave my ES1 a backflush. The machine didn't say it was due, but I've run thru over 5 pounds of beans and thought it should be due. The maintenance time reset, but I looked this morning and after 5 shots, it still shows 0 shots on counter. I'm running firmware 2.3.15 and have the shot limit set to Off, no time or volume limit.
