Segway customer service failing, next steps?

Tldr: how to escalate when segway stops replying to emails?

Anyone experiencing awful customer service lately? I was working with them to unbind a scooter I bought. Seller just deleted app on phone and thought it was good enough. I tried to get him to remotely unbind and sent segway's instructions which he said he'd follow. He didn't. Then ghosted me.

Segway needed a proof of purchase, so I sent screenshots of all messages, my phone, sellers name address and phone, and my friends phone because she picked up the scooter for me, and still had it when we discovered the binding.

I have always been completely upfront about events related to the scooter as they happened with segway. They needed the serial to unbind, having investigated and determined I demonstrated proof of purchase. My friend is kind of flaky, and I never got the serial from her. As time dragged on, segway said no problem just let them know once I've got the serial.

Well when I got the serial, I got a message saying the case had been closed. I reiterated we were just waiting for the serial, and now I was anxious to use my scooter. This was July 5th. No response.

Multiple emails to customer service and technical support (ones that emailed me). Weeks in, I got a reply that they were forwarding my email to the appropriate person and I'll hear back from them shortly. That was July 20th. Initially, I got responses within 24-48 hrs.

What now? How do I escalate? Screenshots of emails in comments where segway is saying I met sufficient proof of purchase and they will unbind as soon as serial is received below. Then screenshot of the only email reply I received in July, on the 20th after I'd been sending the serial number since the 5th.

Segway customer service failing, next steps?

Anyone Notice awful service ready? I was working with them to unbind a scooter I bought. Seller just deleted app on phone and thought it was good enough. Tried to get him to remotely unbind and sent segway instructions which he said he'd follow and didn't. Then dropped off of the earth, stopped using his personal fb account or the phone. (wasn't a scam account, it was real.)

Anyway, segway took in everything and said I had proof of purchase so they'd unbind remotely. This was in April, and my friend was holding on to the scooter. They needed the serial to complete, and shes flaky and never got to me. Then I end up in hospital May+ followed by rehab center in July. I have friend being scooter to rehab, desperate to ride and boy did my service dog need it... Only their constant replies, 24 hrs max, had gone to zip while in hospital. Closed case. Once in rehab I replied to them saying I've got the serial, one now?

Ive replied to every email they've sent me at least 3x by now without replies. One reply I got said I'd be contacted shortly by who could help finish resolve the issue. That was weeks ago, this started July 2nd. I've said this tells me to not buy a segway for my big purpose scooter, their customer service is 0/10 currently. Scammy. How do I escalate the situation?

I still need a commuter scooter (got bait and switch) but I need something for my dog and some independence yesterday. s?

Second hand G3 max with 3733 miles?

What would be the going price? Miles expected to still get? Was said to be graded a C for quality but I'm unclear on what.

G force s10 suspension upgrade

So I'm looking at a great deal for TWO of these scooters, one doesn't run but seller feels confident it's only the battery. I was ready to buy and setting it up, when I realized the photos of his scooters didn't match the website. Its an older version and has no suspension, and that's something that's really important for me.

There are no direct aftermarket upgrades for this scooter. So it talks about things like requiring shims. I can't afford to pay someone to do the work (quoted 100-200/hr) but this seems out of my abilities. Hoping to get some feedback from the pros. Can something like this be done DIY without prior experience?

Asking about dog toys?

I'm trying again. I posted here, and elsewhere, but I wasn't getting answers anywhere for personal recommendations on enrichment dog toys to purchase. I'm still stuck, though the time sensitive need for such toys is ending at least. I received no replies, and then my thread here was locked with no explanation. So I still don't understand what I did wrong? Why I can't get any personal (not interested in calling Chewy for advice, for example. I want suggestions from people who own the toys) recommendations?

I received a donation earmarked for toys for him. It hasn't been spent yet, which makes me uncomfortable. I've only bought one toy based on a second donation from someone else for a specific toy.

Im looking to spend it on puzzle toys, level 2 minimum, to work my service dogs brain. I spent 1 month in the hospital, and I'm finishing up 1 month at a rehab center. I wanted enrichment in the room to help work his brain, especially when I'm feeling too poorly to work his brain. I'm also hoping to amass a good supply prior to receiving my next service dog prospect.

Current SD has low food drive. He usually has love for his dinner, but probably due to the supplements I move in. Because when I had my roommate bring in some basic level 1 stuff and snuffle mats he would ignore them all day long, and then go ahead and eat late evening and finish overnight for empty by morning to ignore the fresh stuff again. Even with good stuff added, like topping the kibble with scrambled eggs, and chunks of meat. So any tips appreciated.

G Force S10

Anyone have this scooter? It seems to come from a reputable company, has great specs.

Long story short, I got screwed and ended up with a segway E2 when I was being sold a max GP30. Part was because a friend had to do pickup for me, and turns out I'm going to have to repeat that if I buy this scooter. So, suggestions so I don't get screwed again? Definitely cannot afford to. But I desperately need some transportation and I'm sick of missing out when I find good options because I can't pick them up fast enough. (because I have no fucking transportation!)

Up for sale, and I'm moving fast due to my needs, is actually two G Force s10 scooters for $250, but only one is functional. The second one he removed the battery on it and said the battery was definitely bad, so it's either spare parts or possibility of second scooter with battery. He had them for sale for $300, I guess he got sick of waiting because the price dropped to $250 and it popped in my search.

Anything I should ask for a closeup in photos? (like, had I close ups of the segway the charging port would have clued me in.) What sort of things should my friend check when she picks up? Seller said it hasn't been used a lot. Here's the original ad, photos look good? https://www.facebook.com/share/1EV8Berg4k/

Commuter scooters from Walmart/etc?

Are any of these worth it? The speeds and distances sound good. For commuting, I like the style of these better. Long term goal is a bike trailer for my service dog, I feel like it would be way more secure on these types of scooter bodies. But are they essentially trash that won't last long?

I THOUGHT I was investing in a segway max g30p. Seller was shady, I had to have a friend pick up for me, I ended up with an E2. I just dont see myself actually affording a used one any time soon, I thought I was getting a super lucky deal. I inquired as to model seller had, they said they needed to check, came back with that. I believe he only opened up the segway app and when it starts showing you some examples right when starting up the first example is the max GP30 and he went with that.

So now I'm thinking of spending more with something like affirm (more than I had on the E2 that is) for a commuter scooter, or an electric trike. (I need to learn more about them. I do prefer the trike body, but I'm not looking to pedal and I don't know how comfortable riding it with my feet on pedals would be.)

Help! "internet may not be available error"

I have an old S7, my only phone and my only "service" right now is voip so I require internet. It stopped working WHILE I was on it with this error. (and the fact I'm posting this shows it's the device) I've tried all Google suggestions, down to resetting my network settings. I can't reset the router, because I'm currently in a rehab facility after lengthy hospitalization. I need my phone desperately to set up shit so I can go home ASAP! Could not be worst timing. But I also found 2 bars on an unsecured guest network and connected real fast, but same damn error. So I don't think begging rehab to reset their guest router is worth it.

Writing this from an old kindle fire that usually only functions for Netflix, took me ages to get into reddit. Not to mention all the time it took just googling fixes. I can't backup the phone without wifi, so factory reset fucks me over too.

Solar panels?

Question. If I wanted to run a 6kbtu air conditioner in a van (one example says 8hrs of cooling with 1kWh), could I do that solely with solar panels? And if so, how many solar panels?

Basically I'm looking for the cheapest way to run an ac in a van. Also interested in a heater, but I know that would take more electricity... But I might be able to plug in overnight for the heater, and during the day you get some solar heating..

Ive been homeless in a minivan van before. Never had ac, used a space heater in winter. I need to get out of my current housing situation ASAP (which really won't be, but vanlife is the fastest method.) My plan is van first, then a camper while saving up money. So for the van, I'm thinking maybe a utility type van that already has a hitch for towing as my best investment. That means ac will be a necessity, not an option due to lack of windows.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Husqvarna 500e question

I'm looking at cheap embroidery machines, mine was stolen a while back. This popped on my fb marketplace. They said embroidery files are transferred by usb. I'm reading about difficulty using this machine due to compatibility with newer windows. So is it worth it to buy the machine? If i did, how would I transfer embroidery files? (looking for people who know how to do it/have done it, not Google answers here)

Thanks!

Affordable 5A charger?

How much should I expect to pay for a 5A charger? Are generics safe? My used scooter didn't come with one, so I'd prefer to upgrade now... Max GP30

But money is extremely tight, I've been in the hospital the past month. My friend actually has my scooter, she picked it up for me then had car trouble and lives too far away. I'm transferring to rehab on Monday and hoping it's close enough for her to come! But the seller lost the charger right before purchase. I'm hoping to hook it up to my wheelchair and start using immediately, plus I'm concerned about battery health because she's had it since March with no charging 😢 I'd purposefully avoided scooters without good batteries, but life happened. I was planning on buying a second battery immediately, but life happened.

I don't want to risk ruining my scooter, but I want to get using it asap. My old scooters were stolen, and my service dog has really lost muscle tone since then. He's getting elderly, so I need to get him back in shape to be able to be fit for work as long as possible. Then fitness through retirement. Thank you for any suggestions!

Reccomend me specific toys, or specific toys from specific vendor.

Please read before replying. If you don't want to read everything, tldr; version is need specific dog toy recommendations, dog toy with vender reccs, that meet the requirements of affordability, fast shipping, and use inside a hospital room. (so no noises for example.) Time involvement is best, when it comes to puzzles and snuffle mats must be level 2 or above/non introductory versions. His hospital kit contains: antler, cow hoof, Kong tennis balls.

So reccomend me specific toys. Specific toys from specific places too. My brain is fried from sleep deprivation and page after page of the same stuff compounds the problem, I can't find anything. And I keep asking but not getting replies I need, so clearly I'm asking wrong.

Wholesale priced toys? A place that would be worth it for a couple toys, can't place a big/bulk order. Looking for toys that can be used unobtrusively in a hospital room. German Shepherd. Give me recommendations!

So someone gave me a donation to get my service dog a couple new dog toys, I can't add to it to buy more. I'm currently in the hospital so must be shipped. What happened was when I was changed rooms, they threw away a new food bag (bought the day before hospitalized, and I buy expensive dog food.) People are trying to help me, when they come potty my dog for me they bring small amounts of food in and I'm ordering him off the menu to supplement (I feed real food at home too.)

If anyone wants the details, the bag was left on top of the bedside drawer. As soon as I was moved in to my new room, I took inventory and reported it wasn't there. I bugged them repeatedly, but understaffed is an understatement. By the time a nurse went to physically check the room she said it was gone, likely trashed.

So the nice thing is someone sent me a PayPal and said to get some toys for him with it. Recommendations? I'd normally source individual items from ebay with long shipping for affordability. I'm flying blind with severe sleep deprivation (will only ever get worse, I can not sleep in this environment.)

Dog toy reccs, trying to fit all needs quickly.

So far how I'm asking has resulted in 2 suggestions that completely didn't fit the details.

Tldr; limited donation earmarked for dog toys for my service dog while we are currently in lengthy hospital visit. I cannot add funds, this began because the hospital lost my expensive dog food I can't afford to replace. Toys must be affordable, fast shipping, easily used in hospital room (no unknowns, no noisy toys).

I like snuffle mat and puzzle reccs, might be best way to go.

I want to fulfill their desire for the cash ASAP. But it's gotta fit the circumstances. Normally for a couple items I'd be looking for wholesale costs off ebay and waiting on slow shipping. Not applicable here. Or I'd wait until I could make a bulk purchase for the best use of the funds. I have nothing to top off earmarked funds, right now I'm supplementing diet with sandwich bags of not normal foods and ordering off hospital menu.

I don't want to lose people and the details with too much info, hopefully this one isn't not enough. I can answer any questions. Please help my severely sleep deprived fried brain complete this task ASAP!

I've been on medicaid for years for disability. I knew I had a review coming up mid May on my medicaid. I happen to receive a shipment of medical supplies to my door every Tuesday, and these supplies keep me alive. They did not arrive today so I went to email them about it. Hoping replacements would be dropped off first thing in the morning, because I don't have spares. These are items with extremely limited shelf life. Well, they weren't sent because my medicaid came up inactive.

How does this happen?? It's not even time for the review yet, and I've received nothing by text, mail or otherwise about the review yet. I am not exaggerating about the weekly supplies being required for health. I also have a few scripts I've been waiting for my pharmacy to get in stock, so much for getting those soon.

I'll be calling first thing in my morning of course, but how can this even happen?! I thought I'd seen everything! I'm probably going to have to go to the er to get on emergency medicaid again for immediate coverage. I've got important Dr's appts coming up the next ten days, and a surgery after that.

No issues with thinking the worst, catastrophizing or whatnot. I've experienced this literal bullshit before for the stupedist reasons. But it's been about 6 years since the last one, I guess they spread it around more evenly now. Help? 😭
