Should I get a second dog?
Anyone who has 2 or more dogs, what are the pros and cons? My poochon is almost 5 years old and lived with a cat most of that time and got along well with her. No children live with me. When we go on a walk if he sees another dog he goes crazy to get to the dog. And he’s been to the dog park a lot and doesn’t really play with other dogs but will check them out and lets them investigate him too. I’d be interested in a 20 pound or less dog. Your advice and thoughts, please.
Also his main problem is barking when someone comes to the door. Also he needs lots of attention and is my Velcro dog. I just feel bad because most of the day he just lies down under my desk in his bed. I do have a sniffle mat and a food puzzle but they only last a couple of minutes each.
Got my hair topper
I cut it some but it still needs more trimming. I hope it looks decent. At least it covers some of my fivehead 🤣
Newbie 🤓
Hi, everyone, excited to be on here! I just saw myself on my google home camera and ugh. So I don’t want to wear wigs, too obvious. I put it up in a ponytail a lot if feeling lazy. I have a couple fake ponytails and a messy bun scrunchie. Interested in any suggestions for hair toppers. Also thinking of cutting it but I like the versatility of long hair. Cheers to all you beautiful ladies
Mom got offended
So I think my mom needs to go to physical therapy for them to look at her walker, make sure it’s fitted for her, and maybe some additional training. She is wearing out the tennis balls in 2 weeks. And I complained to her about how loud the walker is just now especially in the kitchen (although it’s been like that for a long time and I’ve been holding my tongue) and she got offended and said maybe she needs to live somewhere else. Or that I should live with someone more capable. Then she said she has other things to worry about and I basically told her don’t we all….and I deserve to voice my concerns. As far as I know I wasn’t rude.
Anyone else? Was I out of line?
Walker
My mom is 90 and uses a rolling walker. I think she’s using it incorrectly because she leans on it too much. The tennis balls made for walkers are only lasting 2 weeks. When she uses it, it’s so LOUD especially when moving around my small kitchen which is right next to my home office. I try to be nice but it’s getting on my nerves. I may try the walker ski glides. Thinking of having a physical therapist pay her a visit or two. Any suggestions appreciated.
