I was working on making Broli second coming Gohan. I just ordered them kit to convert Superhero Gohan. Specifically waiting on the Target exclusive version. When I saw this come out I had mixed emotions. But seeing that to get the white ankle warmers you need to buy both colors. I'm happy to keep what I was planning on doing.
That last race with the mustang turned out to be a bit of a challenge. I had to try 3 times until I figured out the right approach. Start on RM tires FM6. Pit at the end of lap 5 change to RS and FM1. It gets sketchy towards the end because of the rain. But the SR tires do ok with decent throttle control.
Well I think this event is the one that has been changed the most in the game. So I figured I'd make my own.
First I spent the last week taking each car, all 15 of them. Tuning them to 600p, doing the race with them, and giving them a simple livery.
Rules for the tune. Sport hard tires, because the AI it be Sophy or regular. Will always change the tires to hard. Then tuning it so it can complete the event, without doing the wall grind.
I added 4 more cars to make it 19 total. Since the maximum number of cars is 20. Leaving one spot for the that car that will be used.
Made it using Sophy and it was fun. Finished 2nd because tires were gone towards the end.

Note. When tuning the cars I noticed something. The cars that seem to be slowest, ones in the race. Are actually some of the fastest ones. And the ones that are the fastest are actually the slowest ones.
I dusted out the PS3, and did the update. Unfortunately I forgot that you can record video. I was planning to record a lap and posting the video. Sorry I'm posting pictures I took of my tv. But I would've had to get a thumb drive turn on my computer etc.
I did this with Porsche, I was surprised as the one that got most of the attention. It was picture number 3 followed by 5 and 6. 5 and 6 I expected to do good. But not number 4.
Well here we go with the 190E. They are all based on real cars and a few from other games and other GT games.
No wall grinding and no out stop. These engine swaps are great. I'll check the other ones to see how they do.

They are all based on cars with engine swaps. All the liveries are copies or inspired by real world race cars.
This week 3rd race is a special one. The first time I did it I noticed the car on 1st place. Right away I knew how I wanted to pass it. Restarted the race, to set up the pass at that location. Few bumps here and there. Got to second place and held it until I got to that section of track. Then I did it, not the smoother drift but it made for a good picture.

I want a 1/12 Batman Beyond. There are a few out there but they are all very stylized. I want the classic look. I figured the BSN would be a great base to convert. My one question is about the spider symbol. Us just painted or is it sculpted too?
Don't care for the alternative color. I'll sell Charlie half price without the effects. And I'll sell Dan fur for like 10 bucks without the heads. Only getting this from the effects and the heads. Hopefully the skin tone for Dan is not different. If it is I'll probably sell it since I prefer the orange one better.
Eradicator and Superboy where still sealed. Injustice Superman has a custom cape. I don't like the hard plastic capes Tamashi loves to use.
So I vpulled the trigger and got him from The Premium toy figure store. Paid July 30th Thursday and had in had today August 6th. Exactly one week later. Upon first inspection the paint aps seem fine. They seem to be attempts at shading, but they are not the best. Other than that didn't see any mistakes. All the joints are buttery smooth and they hold up just fine. Changing the head and hands is pretty smooth. No need to apply any crazy force to put on it take them off. I put him on every pose on the sprites I posted and it did all of them with ease. Tomorrow I'll do a posing session and post the pictures. Maybe mine is from the second batch and they took better care of it. The figure did not feel cheap at all. No need for oil, hot water, hair dryer or anything close. Out the box everything was perfect.
I would like today I highly recommend it but not every seems to have been as lucky as I was. But if you want to take a chance, I would say. Go for it.
I have some that has done work for me in the past. I don't know if he is still doing it. But I think this could work well.
First thing first. If you live in the US. It is cheaper to order from the GYz store. $5.64 cheaper to b exact.
Second thing. Why Messtoys gotta do us dirty like that? They know that the yellow one is going to be the most popular one. But they put the unmask head on the blue one. I'm tempted to order both just to get the unmask head for the yellow one. Then I'll put the blue one for sale on eBay for like 20 or 25 bucks just missing that one head. I'm sure someone will pay half and not care for one missing head sculpt.
CT, MessToys, and AC factory stepped up the KO and 3rd party game. All this other companies want a piece of it but other than DB toys I haven't seen any other companies get close. DB and N&T are the only ones showing promise. DB had plenty of QC issues, but they could be easily solved.
N&T Studio also did good with their Goku figure. Mustang toys said the second batch will be better. Let's wait and see.
The main licensed companies greed is going out of hand. They keep increasing prices, giving us less and having QC issues. Sometimes just as bad as KO and 3rd party companies. Then why pay more than double the price?
My only concern is that I'm seeing prices of 3rd party and KOs increasing too. Not sure if it is the companies themselves or the sellers. If the quality and value per dollar, matches the increase in price I think is ok. But then we have the ultra instinct Goku coming out by TK I think it is. The price matches a S.H.f release and the lack of accessories too.
New body with engendering copied from other manufacturers. The is no reason why it should cost nearly 100 USD.
Yes we want those figures but not to pay the ridiculous prices the original manufacturers are charging. The original manufacturers have the excuse that is licensed and they have a engineer the figure. It is a BS excuse for reasons I won't go in detail. But they can hold on to that.
We need to let the KO and 3rd party know that yes we want them, but only because they give us better value. If they are going to charge more we can just buy the original ones.
