Is the Premium subscription worth it?

I have a 7 month old. No major sleep issues, but he still wakes 1-2 times a night and I'm eager for full nights' sleep since our daughter was fully sleep trained by 6 months. Is the premium subscription worth it? Anything that it does any different than what chatgpt gives me by uploading screen shots of the logs?

Having the hardest time finding stainless steel food containers for my toddler's lunch box that don't have a plastic lid

Even with searching this sub, I don't see many options. Found a few large food container options, but my not-even-3-year-old definitely doesn't need a large food container. Any recommendations for brands that are insulated with no plastic lids? TYIA

EDIT: You all are awesome. Thanks so much!!!

Any known Pre-K, Kindergarten, or ISDs who don’t use tablets/iPads in classrooms?

Title. We have a nearly 3 year old and are exploring moving within Tarrant and surrounding counties, and am heavily influenced by selecting a location with great schools. In reading about various schools and ISDs, I am so disheartened that i haven’t been able to find a school district that doesn’t utilize tablets in early age classrooms. Going out on a limb here and seeing if anyone is familiar with schools that have reduced tablet time for young kids in classrooms this way.

TIA

edit: okay so I’m a moron and my daughter’s Montessori daycare also has a pre k program! Whew.

Chafing — how concerned should I be and what are your women’s lines running shorts recs?

not sure if this kind of post is allows.

Chafing hasn’t been a problem for me in Orangetheory classes or in running historically, but wondering if it’s something i should be acutely mindful of in Hyrox since I’ll undoubtedly be working longer and sweatier than in previous workouts.

I don’t prefer to wear tight bike shorts and prefer lined running shorts. Haven’t found a brand or pair I love and just have a few I tolerate that still ride up when running. is it best to:

  1. wear lined running shorts that don’t ride to prevent chafing or

  2. wear shorts with brief lining that will ride and not worry too much about chafing

tysm for tolerating my overuse of the word “chafing”

Anyone gone into practicing couples therapy/marriage counseling solely?

I have my LCSW, but got it more for the diagnostic/assessment interest than practicing individual therapy. I am in love with the idea of doing couples therapy or marriage counseling though, and love working with relationship dynamics.

I dont personally know any SWs who do any therapy outside of individual, so I wanted to see what others’ experience has been entering this field of therapy as a clinical SW.

I obv know that LMFT is a thing, but I don’t enter this field with the intention of doing therapy, this has just been a recent interest of mine.

thanks!

Toddler hair — should I just cut it?

posting as 3 y/o because she’s almost there 2y9m

my toddler’s hair is looking so bad :’(

when she was younger, I would always put her hair in pigtails or double buns because it was so cute and kept her hair out of her eyes. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have used elastic hair ties so consistently on her fine/thin hair, because it caused a lot of breakage. We’ve switched to fabric hair toes for the like 8 months or so, so the hair is finally growing, but unfortunately it’s incredibly uneven and just looks silly. She does have ringlets on the longer pieces in the back, so there is some texture. but the hair in the middle back of her head is 2-2.5” longer the the rest of her hair.

I want so badly for it to look better and more presentable. We’re sticking with fabric hair ties, started using a silk pillow case, and also have some curl product and detangler that we put in it at night. But wanted to see if anyone else had similar experiences and if you bit the bullet and just cut the hair.

i also don’t trust myself to do it correctly, so thought about having it done at a toddler-friendly hair salon place. So I’d appreciate insight into those kind of places too.
