Any experience taking time off a project with a minimum?

I really don’t want to lose my high paying contract but I’m really out of it after a medical procedure (not so out of it I couldn’t technically work but I would be taking sick days from a regular job) If I just put my availability to 0 for this week and do however many hours I can once I recover, do I risk off boarding? People are regularly told to just update availability on Mercor rather than try to get ahold of leadership in slack, so I’m guessing this is the right move, but curious if others know for sure. It’s the big project if it helps

Tutoringprof / Tutoring by a college professor / Knowlaunch?

Anyone go through with their $99 background check and actually get matched to students? It seems awfully high for no guarantee of getting work and it goes through their own certification platform, not a regular background check company

What is actually on the flower paper

I promised someone I would show what’s on the flower a few days ago so here it is! Pardon my fingers, I didn’t want to uncrumple it too much at the risk of not being able to re-flower it, but hopefully this satisfies some curious folks. I purchased it during Broadway Cares a while back (Jordan Fisher signed one of the “petals”)

When does another degree start to look like degree collecting? MSc as part of career switch

I have been planning a transition from cognitive science (not computational) into data science based on what I've now learned is pretty outdated advice from mentors. I'm a bit nervous based on how many listings have the degree requirement listed as CS/ML/other computational field. I already have an amount of technical upskilling to do before I could pass a tech screen. I'm wondering if enrolling very part time in a CS MSc post PhD will look insane or would "MSc CS (in progress)" actually be helpful to beat auto-screeners? If I did this, it would be a flexible pay-per-credit situation, and I have unspent 529 money, so the question is mainly about application strategy. I could see it being actively harmful if it looks like I'm just a permanent degree collector, but maybe the disciplines are different enough that I need it to be a plausible candidate?

I’ve got a migraine and am hoping to sell my ticket for tonight:

Seat: UPPER CIRCLE D 5

Upper Circle Limited View Seat and looking through a clear perspex safety screen.

Price £40 (face value or best offer, it’s sold out and I’d rather it not go to waste)
