Doubt regarding the initial temporary accommodation in Italy
Hi everyone,
I'm joining Politecnico di Torino as a masters student this September. According to the visa guidelines, we need to book a temporary accommodation of atleast 30 days to apply for the visa. Once we arrive in Italy, we will have to apply for the residence permit within the first 8 days.
Usually, we would book an Airbnb or a hotel in booking.com for this.
My question is, if I am getting a temporary accommodation for the first two months as a sublet of a room in an apartment, but without any contract, will that be an issue in my residence permit application? Since I will have to change my temporary residence anyway to a different permanent address. So my initial address on the application and final application would be different anyways.
Or do we specifically need a temporary contract initially to even apply for the residence permit?
Thank you.
