Outdoor camera with power connected loses charge over time?

Title says it. I have an outdoor camera which is actually pulged into a power outlet via USB. Over a long time (multi months) the camera battery will eventually lose charge. I can remove the battery and fully recharge on another indoor outlet and start the cycle again.

The fact that it takes so long for the battery to lose power leads me to believe the power cable is providing some charge but not enough to keep the battery fully charged. I've swapped out different power cables and USB wall plugs without success. I also had SImplisafe send me a new battery that also didn't change things.

I'm thinking the power outlet is not providing enough power to keep the charge up?

Anyone else experienced this and/or have ideas how to fix?

TIA

Why can't AI adjust TV volume to consistent levels?

Ongoing debate in our house: TV commercials are almost always LOUDER than the shows they broadcast. We wind up turning down the volume on commercials and restoring it when the show resumes.

Seems like AI or other simple technology adjustments could fix this. Why hasn't someone solved this?

Naive question on taxes

So I made a few sports bets and won ~$8k. When cashing out they made a copy of my driver's license. Did not have to complete any tax forms

Am I stupid to think I can avoid reporting this on my taxes?
