I'm so tired of this game, man. I thought I did really well in the interview, too.

I'm seeking a new roommate for my stabilized 2br/1ba, lease starting August 1st. Ideally seeking another woman who is quiet, tidy and mature to join me, a 37F office admin professional. You must be willing to sign a year lease, make 40x the rent (personal 80x guarantors are accepted) and have decent credit, management does check.

The location:

-Located in WH on Thayer St between Broadway and Sherman, with 1 block to the 1 and A trains. Plenty of grocery stores, laundromats, pharmacies, dining options and Fort Tryon Park, including the Met Cloisters within 2 blocks.

-Easy commute to the UWS, Midtown west, Columbia University or City College, 40 minutes or less each.

The apartment:

-The bedroom is very sunny and can comfortably fit a full size bed plus additional furniture. Includes a floor-to-ceiling closet. The common area is furnished and spacious, with a combined dining area and living room, PLUS a small extra room that is a shared storage area/spare room for the occasional guest. Modern kitchen with each person getting their own cupboards. Lots of counter space! It's on the 2nd floor of a walkup building.

Looking for a quiet, mature, and tidy person to swap chores each week and keep the place looking its best. Cleanliness, hygiene and respect for common spaces are really important to me. -No pets or smoking/vaping. Utilities run about $60-100 each per month. Fios wifi is $25 each per month.

More about me:

Hobbies include sewing, video games, cycling, houseplants and volunteering, mainly w. animals. I'm friendly and open, but like to keep to myself generally. Happy to share the occasional chat, errand or coffee run! Current roomie and I get on really well as acquaintances, so I'd love that to continue.

I rarely host guests, mainly my mother a couple times a year or a friend for a night. I still take basic covid/illness precautions still (masking on transit, in crowded indoor spaces, etc).

-Looking for a mature, clean and tidy person to swap chores each week and keep the place looking its best. Cleanliness, hygiene and respect for common spaces is a MUST.
-No pets or indoor smoking/vaping.
-Rent is $1360. Utilities run about $60-100 each per month. Fios wifi is $25 each per month. You must be able to sign a year lease, with decent credit, rental history (landlord's rules, not mine) and proof of 40x rent in income (~$55k). Personal guarantors are accepted with 80x the rent in income.
