Any Brace recommendations that are NOT this ASO one from Amazon?

I did my research on this sub, as well as combing through many Amazon reviews, and this brace seemed to be the most recommended. So I bought one, and absolutely hated it. It felt like there was absolutely zero restriction/support in my lateral movement, and in fact I ended up rolling my ankle slightly while wearing it. It only felt like there was support on my shin...which isn't a moveable part of my leg so that seems kind of pointless.

Does anyone have any other recommendations, preferably with a rigid side plate to keep my ankle from rolling?

Will they let me into GA with crutches? (RBC Amphitheatre)

I bought pit tickets when they came out, annnnnd then broke my leg back in June 🥺 I still plan on going, obviously I don't want to be in anyone's way so I plan on being in the back of GA. Just wanted to make sure I'm technically allowed to be there before they have an issue with me.

Has anyone seen this item in the fashionwave?

Just curious if anyone has seen this in their rotation yet? I feel like I've seen almost every other item in the projected lists online, but not this one. Trying not to get my hopes up if its a bit of a rare find.

Can you show me your REALLY unique wedding bands?

We've been hunting for a wedding band for my husband since long before our wedding and had zero luck. He has such an interesting and eclectic style that we just can't seem to find anything that piques his interest. The closest we came was this ring designed by the jeweler who made my engagement ring. Unfortunately it was a one-off designed for someone else, and *far* outside our budget (that ring was $12k). Any time we look up 'unique men's wedding bands' they're just the same designs over and over. Does anyone here have a ring of their own that they would love to share? We're just looking for some inspiration to bring to our jeweler.

I feel like I'm so behind.

Just frustrated and needed to vent 😓 Weber B fibula fracture with displacement/unstable 6 weeks ago. The ER messed up my referral and didn't send any xrays to my ortho surgeon, so I was booked 2 weeks out and just told NWB and wear the boot.

Finally when I had my ortho appointment, the surgeon was annoyed that my referral had so little urgency to it because the break was more significant than the ER implied and was now healing incorrectly. They put me in a cast for 3 weeks, aligned properly, and felt that it was showing some decent improvement. NWB felt like the easy part, you just baby the leg and do your best not to screw it up. But now, I have to actively put the work in.

They removed my cast 1 week ago and the ortho wants me to get used to ankle movement and partial weight bearing with the boot and crutches for 2 weeks. The movement I've got down, side to side, up and down, no problem. Very little discomfort with that. But the part I feel behind on is the weight bearing. I feel like I'm so unable to mentally allow myself to put any weight on it. As soon as I feel any pain or resistance I immediately give up and pull back 😔 So crutches are holding most of my weight every time I try. I'm so scared of the idea that I'll go to my follow up and the ortho will feel like I'm not pushing enough. I feel like I don't have any metric for what is the appropriate amount of weight I should be attempting and I'm obsessing over it 🫤

Ortho surgeon was pretty shocked that the ER had so little urgency about my break that they booked my first consult 2 weeks out...

Why do they only serve the steak sandwiches in the evening?

Its 6:30pm, I totally understand the concept of a restricted menu in the evening to reduce waste. But why the steak? What part of a turkey club makes it impossible to serve past 6pm, but steak and cheddar is totally fine?

We're sitting at 14 months and 2 weeks, and definitely feeling the grind. Are there any cases here with Canadian spouses that have reached approval? And how long was your wait before you had any movement? Just trying to set my expectations realistically and settle my anxiety.
