Waited a year for this pre-order. I'll get a photo of my Red Bull with her soon. She's posable and so adorable. ​​

We spent 14 years together. She was and still is the love and light of my life. I miss her so much, it feels like I'll never recover.

She developed lung cancer and heart failure so quickly. We thought we'd get a little more time with her, but It didn't play out that way, so we laid her to rest surrounded by her brothers and family. I've made a shrine to her memory, and it's helped me cope. Got her tattooed on my arm so she's always with me. Later this year my husband and I are going to get her pawprints done together.

When she came into my life I was recovering from an almost life ending car accident. She helped me live. When I was relearning to walk she would be with in my wheelchair with me. When I would cry in pain at night she would sit beside my face and comfort me. She was my baby, but at times she also felt like a mother who loved me unconditionally. I was lucky to have her, and I was so lucky to know her.

I miss you so much Matilda. Every single day, every single second. I catch myself measuring everything and everyone to you, and even though I realize that's not fair, I truly can't help myself. I still feel utterly lost without you. Your daddy and I just miss you so so much, so desperately. You remain the love of my life, sweetheart. I wish we had more time together.
