Affinity Metropolitan, my main mode of transportation

I bought this bike from the original owner almost two years ago, and I’ve ridden it nearly every day since. 42 x 16 ratio because I live in a valley, 700 x 30 road tubeless because I pretend to be fast.

Bullriding granny while pregnant, no mask or needle upgrades

Started a new game with no mask upgrades, no needle upgrades, and no map. I missed out on the Twisted Child ending on my first save, so I’m gonna have to clutch it on this one. I’m about 15 attempts in and I’m finding my groove. Only problem is her damage output is so high that I’m done for in 2-3 hits, so I’m trying to come up with a flawless strategy.

1990 Fisher Paragon refresh

I finally got around to restoring and refreshing my 1990 Fisher Paragon. Found on Marketplace for $140. It came with some sick XT thumbies, but I decided to put those in the parts bin and convert to 2x9.

A band I have adored for years, Muna, recently made this Instagram post. I understand they don’t mean any harm by it, and that they believe deaf dogs cannot be harmed by loud noise, but this just isn’t true. I had worked with animals for over eight years and I’m currently finishing school to be a licensed veterinary technician. The truth is that the vibrations are still physically and emotionally damaging. Many deaf dogs will feel these vibrations and still be confused, scared, and stressed by them. Structures in the ear may still be intact in deaf dogs, and the ear drum may be ruptured by noise as loud as they will be subjected to onstage. Overall there is an ignorance of animal medicine and how their bodies and behaviors work, and it disappoints me to see this coming from a progressive group of people I have admired for so long. I am trying to post this where I can in an attempt to intervene and get them to stop. So far I have DM’d them on Instagram and posted on their subreddit, but I can’t find a direct line to their management.

Overall, there is no reason any band should be bringing animals onstage. This does nothing to serve the animals, only to bring more suffering into their lives. Please help me in any way you can!

Hey friends. I have worked in a veterinary clinic for over six years, and in an animal shelter for two years before that. I am a veterinary assistant who works with ten different veterinarians on a daily basis, and I am currently in school to be a licensed technician in my state. I was alarmed when I saw this post from Muna, but I understand the sentiment behind it and I know they don’t mean any harm. The truth, however, is that deaf animals can still experience physical pain and emotional distress with loud noises, especially with music as loud as they will be subjected to onstage. In many deaf animals the ear drum is still intact, but can still be damaged or ruptured. Just because a dog is deaf does not mean they are not susceptible to harm from the intense vibrations the music causes. These vibrations can still be felt throughout the body as well, and can cause fear, anxiety, and stress because of how intense they are. I don’t know where else to post this, but I would hate to see Muna under fire for animal cruelty when they’re trying to do something good. The fact is that this is going to hurt a lot of dogs if they do this :(
