Despite the (many) flaws of season 4, i believe that the build up to Silas was actually pretty good.

I wholeheartedly believe that between Connor, his somewhat mentorship of Jeremy, Bonnie and Shane, the sword, the flashbacks, etc, it was good.

Me when someone says a specific instance of an immortal crushing on a teen doesn't make sense when the whole show has immortals crushing on teens.

Where's the Klayley love?

I swear, it's always Klaroline this, Klamille that. Why so few Klayley posts?

Not only is Hayley the mother of Klaus's child, but she challenged and stood up to Klaus just as much as Camille. Not to mention that the chemistry between them was palpable.

Seeing Klaus and Hayley get their lives together in order to better be there for Hope and falling for each other in the process would be very in line with how the TVDU does redemption.

Also, since both Klaus and Hayley are werwolves, there could be more attention paid to their shared heritage. And, the love triangle between Klaus, Hayley, and Jackson would make more sense.

Some might say that Klaus getting a family while the "good" vampires don't would be unfair. To that is say: yes, it would be, which is why I think it should have happened. Sometimes, the "good" guys don't get a happy ending where they banish or defeat the villain and love happily ever after in undeath with their lover, sometimes the evil villain wins and gets to have a family despite also being undead. And i think that would be more grim humor that the TVDU needs.

Also, you can't convince me that Haylijah (Elijah x Hayley) was good. Elijah really only "fell" for Hayley because she was pregnant with his brother's baby. He just saw Hayley and her child as a catalyst for Klaus's redemption. They had negative chemistry too, I much prefer him with Gia.

Cone of Cacophony for those of you who desire a sonic scream spell! Oc

The sorcerer Corvance Warwick created this spell after becoming enamored with dragons and their breath weapons. the creation of this spell took Corvance 16 years (mainly due to things of this nature being more difficult for sorcerers than wizards.) and resulted in Corvance losing his voice. ironic.

am i the only one who sees the potential of Bonnie x Stefan?

they were so underrated as friends.

they both make sacrifices for their friends at the cost of their own wants and desires.

they both get done horrendous by the writers

they both have unsatisfactory arcs (if they get any at all)

both were cheated on (Elena cheated on Stefan with Damon Emotionally)

they just occupy a warm spot in my heart

Takes you (probably) don't hear often

1). Damon raping Caroline happened because the writers wanted to quickly establish Damon as the bad brother. The reason it was almost never talked about after season 1 is because whilst the writers ultimately succeeded in their goal, Damon became really popular, and they didn't know how to deal with what Damon did to Caroline and have him date Elena so they simply never mentioned it again.

2). The humanity switch only exists in the show so that the "good" vampires can do all sorts of heinous acts and get away with it because "it wasn't really them."

3). The sirebond muddied the waters for Delena (unnecessarily) when having Elena break up with Stefan after that stunt he pulled on the wickery bridge would have done just fine.

4). I stopped shipping the Salvatore brothers with Elena because she is really boring as a (main) character. The main reason the Salvatore brothers were even attracted to Elena is because she looks like their ex.

5). A lot of people say that Katherine was, in the later seasons, written to be cartoonishly evil. And while I agree, I would say the same for Damon, especially with the whole killing each generation of Whitmores and leaving one alive to continue the bloodline bit.

6). If we're being super honest with ourselves, most characters in the show are bad and shouldn't be in a relationship with anyone.

7). Alaric and Caroline as a family is certainly....different and not for everyone but consider the very premise of the vampire diaries asks you to root for an 150+ year old serial killer to get with an innocent teenage girl, Alaric and Caroline are tame.

8). One of my biggest gripes with the tvdu is how the vampires, especially the older ones, are just people with superpowers. Only Elijah and Finn seem to in any way belie thwir age with their mannerisms, speech, and personalities.

9). Marcel and Rebekah are so weird

10). Werewolves were severely underutilized in this show.

11). Klaus wasn't nearly as menacing past season 2, just some old british guy who daggers his siblings.

12). Klaus gave Stefan too many second, third, fourth, and fifth chances.

13). Katherine having trauma is tragic, but her woes happened 500 years ago and do not give her excuses for her actions. Especially stealing Elena's body.

So I've just had a thought

Why didn't the mystic falls gang kill Katherine when she was human? They were itching to kill all the Mikaelsons because they had beef with Klaus. Anytime they found white oak or it seemed viable to kill originals without suffering as well, they were geeked.

Where was the same energy for Katherine? She was also an antagonist in their lives, maybe not as much as Klaus, but still a menace. She killed Jeremy, like Klaus killed Jenna. She took over Elena's body just to save herself, like Klaus was using Elena as his personal blood bag to make hybrids, Katherine is the reason the Salvatores are vampires in the first place, Klaus turned Tyler into a hybrid for his own machinations, Katherine killed Caroline and turned her into a vampire.

That's not even to mention the fact that, as a human, Katherine was free eats, so to speak. They could just shoot her or snap her neck; with the originals, they would still have an uphill battle going against the Mikaelsons' superior strength, speed, stamina, and durability.

Is it just me, or should they have killed her as soon as she became human?

Hey, so I've been seeing the community say that Mystra groomed gale. How, exactly?

Is it because she's older than him? If so, don't watch or read any romances with vampires in them.

Can someone explain how Mystra groomed Gale?
