What siren is this?
I captured this video just a few minutes ago while on layover on my city bus route. I've heard the test multiple times, but never saw the actual siren in action until today

I was speaking with a dispatcher the other night, and he brought up something that I found odd. We were just chit chatting and I asked if he had heard of any recent law changes that I needed to be aware of. He said the DOT changed the law recently so anyone that has a drug test for any reason must be off until the results come in.
I'd never heard of this. Is this true? This is in the US
Hi, guys! Just wanted to give y'all some information about a couple of stops on Route 6.
On the east side, the stop in front of Summerhouse Apartments is still an active stop.
On the west side, Kinser & Gourley is still an active stop.
Yes, they have been accidentally removed from the Spot app, but I spoke to someone in management yesterday myself and confirmed that those two stops are still active. Those stops should be back on the Spot app soon
I drive a city bus in Bloomington and I'm happy to answer any questions you have about it! Now, the questions need to be geared towards the bus routes and what you need to do to ride and disembark. I won't answer anything along the lines of "what's something someone did that upset you?" or "Do you ever get mad at students for something?"
If you would rather ask me in a DM, you're welcome to DM me. And remember, there are no dumb questions
Hello! My wife, daughter, and I stayed at a VRBO rental property in Missouri back in late June. Before we got to the property, we were told by the owner that we weren't able to stay there because there was damage that had been caused by a previous renter and the repairs hadn't been completed yet. The owner gave us a different property to stay at. Upon getting to the 2nd property, the code the owner gave us didn't work. We called the owner multiple times, but they didn't answer. We gave up and went to a hotel. The next day, we went to church and then went to the 2nd property. The code worked and we went inside and started eating lunch. I was walking around the property and started noticing cockroaches, some alive some dead, in various rooms. I called the owner, they answered this time, and I told them that we were not going to stay there. They said the repairs still weren't done and we found a 2nd hotel. The next day, we did some vacation sightseeing and had a good day. After we were done, I called the property owner and they said the repairs should be completed tomorrow afternoon, so we found a 3rd hotel. The next day, we finally got confirmation that repairs had been completed. We went to the property we initially booked and stayed there the rest of the vacation. The owner originally said that they would refund us the 3 nights we lost.
As of writing this post, we have yet to get a refund. I have contacted the owner and VRBO. Nothing has happened. Is it biblically wrong to ask for a refund of those lost nights plus the money we spent on hotels or, if the owner doesn't respond by a certain date, take them to court?
So, about a week ago I was tasked with covering a route so that the driver could get trained on our new articulated bus. I was driving along and got too close to the edge of the road, in that particular section you have to ride the yellow line or bad things will happen, and struck a tree with my passenger side mirror. I ripped the entire thing off, bracket and all. I recovered the mirror the next day and the bus is back in revenue service as we speak.
Today, the boss calls me into his office and says that even though he doesn't want to, his hands are tied and he has to give me 3 days off for the incident even though my entire career has been flawless up to this point. 0 complaints, never late to work, nothing.
Do you guys feel 3 days off is a bit harsh or do you think it's fair?
Edit: Had a meeting with management and the union today. Suspension has been reduced to 1 day.
