Leutershausen Hirschberg ad Bergstrasse Event Tonight

Does anyone know what was happening in Leutershausen Hirschberg ad Bergstrasse tonight? It is usually the quitest suburb but tonight I got off the tram at 1 AM and faced a horde of crazy drunk teenagers, like almost hundred. Like in every street corner until I got home there was puking drunk teens, which is so out of ordinary. Was there like a festival or graduation event? They were all dress pretty casual. How can I learn what was happening?

LOTR Inspired Lauterbrunnen Valley Short Trip Questions and Advice

Hi everyone!

At the end of this month I am surprising my younger sister, who is a Lord of the Rings fan, with a surprise trip to the Lauterbrunnen Valley. We are on a budget (as much as you can be while traveling to Switzerland), have the hotel and trains booked, and I have a few small questions.

This is what the plan looks like right now:

Day I

-Early Morning DB Train Mannheim-Basel SBB-Interlaken Ost-Lauterbrunnen

-Lauterbrunnen/Jungfrau Sigthseeing, Hiking

-Go to Wengen, hotel check in at Wengen

-Wengen sightseeing, eating, resting etc.

Day II

-Check out of hotel

-Travel to Interlaken, sightseeing

-visit St. Beatus-Höhlen

-Early evening DB train leave from Interlaken West

We will be traveling really light and prepared to walk a lot. My first question is regarding travel within the Lauterbrunnen Valley. We don't have tickets yet from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, and then Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken. I keep seeing the trains are expensive but I can't find any exact numbers. How expensive would transportation be within the area, and would it be hard to get these tickets there on the day of? Is there an app I should download?

My second question is about DB. We have 2-3 transfers, and they seem doable, but you guys know how it is with DB (I've been burned before). I'm not sure about how it works with transborder travel, if I miss a connection can I still take the next train?

Final very dumb question, should I exchange Euros for Francs? I will onlypay for food, local trains and maybe souveinirs, would I be able to get by with card payments or would I need some cash absolutely?

I would also appreciate if anyone has any other advice or recommendations. Is there something sticking out as problematic? Any specific recommendations to make it more aligned with a LOTR inspired tour? Food do's and don'ts? Thank you so much!!
