Starting to think I don’t have one :(

Interested to see who you guys think my doppelgänger is, I have never really been compared to anyone accurate. When I have been compared to someone, it’s always been based on having a similar vibe/aesthetic instead of actually looking alike.

If that alert *had* been a nuke, what would you have done?

TLDR below.

Like many people, when the alert came through I immediately assumed we were minutes away from being nuked. Had flashbacks to Threads (1984) lol.

It did get me thinking, what would I have done if that was the case? I don’t have a basement, currently waiting for a roofer to come and inspect my subpar roof, I haven’t had an emergency kit packed like the government has been advising.

At first I thought maybe emptying the fridge and hiding in there, although I’m plus sized so that would have been a miracle. Next thing that crossed my mind was hiding under my bed, but that’s upstairs and wouldn’t have really protected me from radioactive fallout or the tonnes of falling debris, as I would essentially become falling debris. The only other room in the house I have that doesn’t have windows is upstairs so that’s also a no go.

Has this alert made anyone else consider how woefully underprepared they are for conflict and life or death situations? Or are you somewhat prepared? What would your plan of action be if that had been a bomb warning or god forbid, a nuclear weapon?

TLDR: are you prepared for conflict? Do you have a space in your home you can go to if worst came to worst? Did the alert make you consider how unprepared you are for the worst case scenario?

Daridorexant/Quviviq - what was your experience?

UK based - TLDR below

Hi all,

I deal with inattentive ADHD, depression and insomnia. After a mental health crisis, I have been given a few medication options to explore, one of them being Daridorexant.

The medical practitioner I have been seeing suggested this may be a good option for me as although it’s primarily used as a sleep aid, it also has antidepressant like effects. So could essentially kill two birds with one stone.

From what I remember of the last conversation I had with the medical practitioner, this would be the only medication I would take for my depression if I were to choose this option (I’m waiting for clarification on this).

I’m struggling to find any other testimonials/experiences of people who have used this as a (primary) antidepressant. I’d like to hear from you if:

- You’ve tried this medication for anything other than sleeping issues

- You used this medication for sleep and noticed a significant change in your mental health (positive or negative), that wasn’t just the result of getting an adequate amount of sleep.

Thank you :)

TLDR: Please share if you have used Daridorexant as an antidepressant or noticed a significant change in your MH as a result of being on the medication.

Help me find this dress

Can anyone help me find this dress? I saw it on vinted a couple of years ago and stupidly didn’t screenshot the details. It was a plus sized item if this helps whittle it down. I can’t stop thinking about her 💔
