He's a middle aged dragonborn who's spent most of his life travelling the desert alone, until he happened upon Toby taking care of a kobold very badly, and he felt like he had to intervene

In his original story, he was an experimental robot made by Toby who ended up leaving to live on his own after they had a falling out. He inadvertently ended up taking care of Volcano too. I really wanna lean into the found family vibes with this version
